I had an urgent issue and needed to see Dr. Mian who is my family doctor. I started calling the office at 8:30 am and continued to call throughout the day (dialing the office number over 25 times) with no answer and no ability to leave a voicemail. I also tried using their online booking tool, but there were no available appointments for the rest of the week (it was Monday!). When I finally got through at 3 pm and spoke to a staff member explaining than I had an urgent issue, she informed me that the Dr. left for the day, other doctors in the office were fully booked, and the next available appointment was the following Monday (in a week's time!). She said we should have called earlier in the day. When I said I did, she replied that she understands and other patients have told them that it is virtually impossible to reach the office. I reiterated the urgency of the issue, and that it would not be possible to wait a week to see the Dr. and said I am sorry we cannot accommodate you and you should go to the emergency room. This has been my experience with this office consistently over the last few months. Very disappointing. Going to start looking for a new Dr.

He listens carefully to the patient and gives answers appropriate to the situation. I have been attending him since he was very young, and he seems to handle his patients' concerns with utmost kindness and expertise. I have no doubt that he is one of the best family doctors in Ontario.

I love that he is not quick to prescribe - and that he actually listens, and takes value with your description of symptoms. I have been lucky enough to have him as a dr to both my children for the past 13 years - very grateful for his knowledge and patience.

Dr. Mian is incredibly patient , kind and knowledgable. As someone that typically avoids the Dr. I've learned to let go of my initial fears and seek guidance when needed thanks to him. My children and I are lucky to have such an incredible Dr.

We have know Dr Mian for 11 years and I consider my kids the luckiest to have found him. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and listens and never misses and angle so so you are in the best of trustworthy hands

Dr Mian is our only family doctor so far since we moved to Oakville. It's 8 years now, we have all good experience with him and our family has been well taken care of. He is nice, knowledgeable, professional and most importantly he cares about people. My Dad is diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal Cancer last month; I'm shocked and in panic first after hearing this news, then plan to get my Dad here to live with us so we can help and support him with treatment. Even though typically Dr Mian won't take any new patient as he is assigned with enough, he agreed to accept my Dad immediately after learning my situation. He made his suggestion, collected necessary information and submitted urgent referral to Oncologist; To be fair, he can tell me to find another doctor accepting new patient and i won't blame him, but what he did shows he really cares! I truly appreciate Dr Mian goes extra mile to help people and their family; It's very fortunate for my family to have Dr Mian who is best doctor i ever met and definitely one of best doctors in this area. I don't know how to thank Dr Mian enough but i would show same kindness and care to others in my life.
