I am so glad my family doctor referred me to Dr. Spence three years ago. With a change in the medication that Dr. Spence prescribed and also a change in my diet, my Cholesterol and High blood pressure has improved so much. I am so grateful for that.

I have been going to Dr. Spence now for several years. The plaque in my arteries has improved a great deal. My experience with Dr. Spence was just awful. Not saying he doesn't know his stuff, but his "I am the Almighty" attitude insensitive bedside manner are not what I want in a doctor. He had no interest or concern in any of my other health issues. The only thing that mattered to him was that I did what I followed his orders as well as never eat another egg yolk. But he didn't hesitate to take the time to ask me to send his research links to my friends and family. He told me I've had a stroke when it turns out I have not. He was very condescending and arrogant.

I have been going to Dr. Spence for the last five years. My Cholesterol and Triglycerides were very high. With the medication that he prescribed and nutrition knowledge that I have gained from him, my Cholesterol and Triglycerides have improved greatly . The good news that I received on my last visit was that my arteries are much healthier. I find Dr. Spence very helpful and friendly. We are fortunate that we have him available for us here in Ontario.

I have been to Dr Spence twice, not able to help when I called with concerns, did not get back to me in regards to a medication problem, did not help when my family Dr sent a brain mri with news concerns, felt abandonded I will probably not go back but will find a neurologist able to see me as the person I am a mom, wife and daughter with a family that needs me to be healthy and feeling 100%. Not interested in just being part of his research and not being listened to.

Dr Spence is probably very knowledgeable with regard to stroke prevention but does not care about any other health issues or the quality of your life, as long as you do what he says. He will not consider anything you have to say and will tell you that every other doctor you have ever seen is wrong, only he is right. If you don't do as he says, he will not see you again. If you do have a problem in the future with a stroke he says he will not treat you.
