I have been under his care since my first stroke in 2012. He was always very kind, patient and answered any questions I had. I have never had to wait very long when my scheduled visits. I had a total of 5 strokes and he has been a huge part of my care for over 9 years. I highly recommend him but he recently told me he will be retired. I wish him well and all the best and thank him for taking such wonderful care of me.

This doctor is a wiener. He did not take anything I said seriously and he talked down to me. It's the first time I walked out of a doctor's appointment. We got no where with treatment. I came to him looking for solutions but because he was to busy telling me that my side affects to certain medications where not real we got no where. I must say his staff where really nice and he should probably give them raises for putting up with his crabby attitude.

I have been seeing Dr Spence for over 30 years at SPARC for my carotid stenosis and high blood pressure. I have always felt extremely fortunate to be in his care. I admire his keen mind and ever evolving knowledge in his field. My gratitude to him for my health today is immense. Every day a gift.

Miss diagnosed and spent 3 years on medicine I did not need. Changed my life for no reason . I fo not recommend him. He does not listen and his bully tactics are not good for patient communication.

I was referred to Dr. Spence by my family doctor some years ago. Dr. Spence changed the medication that I was on and also gave advice for an improvement in my diet My Cholesterol and High blood pressure has improved so much. I am so grateful for that.

Dr Spence is a brilliant man. I has my first TIA at age 20 & went on to have 7 TIA's & 5 CVA's by the age of 27. My PFO wasn't found until I was 42 in 2012 by Dr Spence & the SPARC Clinic. Subsequently the Mediterranean diet improved my overall health as well as the PFO Closure surgery peformed by Dr Kumar Sridhar. Dr Spence was the only doctor in 22 years that explored the possibility of a defect in the heart while other Neuro & Cardio searched for a defect on the outside. I'm confident that without his expertise, I would be here today.

The medication that Dr. Spence prescribed and the improved diet has improved my Blood pressure and Cholesterol. I am glad that we have Dr. Spence here in Ontario
