Had a hair transplant with Dr. Friedman who is a well respected physician in the community however is very money hungry and sadly is reflected in his practice. A low estimate will be given to you in the beginning, then an upsell during the day of the operation. And then not until after the procedure is done will tell you that it usually takes a couple of procedures to get good results

The support staff from the front desk to the girls who assist are all great and very friendly and helpful. They are not associated with the 1 star given.

As for the sleazy salesman Dave, will tell you anything you want to hear until you pay. After that you better hope every part of the procedure goes well, if you say anything he does not agree with you will see classic short man syndrome at its finest.

Apparently this is how he likes to treat people, this is not an isolated incident either. Read the other 1 star reviews and you’ll see a pattern.

Underwent the ARTAS FUE procedure for 2000 grafts to reestablish my frontal hairline. It was my first hair transplant. Dr. Friedman and his team made the graft sites the afternoon prior to the surgery and the next day spent the morning harvesting from the donor area before grafting in the afternoon. It was a long process, but it went very smoothly. Out of everything, the initial anesthesia injections were the only painful part. Dr. Friedman and his team took exceptional care of me throughout the entire process (and that pastrami sandwich on the lunch menu was incredibly satisfying). Post-op care has been fantastic, from the morning after washing, to the hyperbaric chamber therapy deal (highly recommend), to the complimentary in-office laser chair use. The staff has also been friendly and helpful with scheduling and answering any questions and concerns I've had. One week out and things are looking great. A little bruising and tenderness, but no major complications. They gave such thorough post-care instructions and a brilliant care-bag with everything I needed. I feel great about my decision to undergo this treatment and can't thank Dr. Friedman and the wonderful women on his team that were apart of the process from start to finish.

I just completed my second hair transplant procedure with Dr. Friedman. After the awesome results from the first one I am very excited to see the results from this one! I highly recommended Dr. Friedman and his very professional and staff.

I went here for some hair thinning issues and wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. Dr. Friedman seemed eager for me to get on his laser hair treatment program instead. His "expert" girl selling this system had no idea how the laser technology worked, didn't give me any information, and when I asked her if she ever used it got completely offended... "I don't have hair loss"... I had to push Dr. Friedman to do a biopsy of my scalp, and only then did I get any answers. Finally, the girl up at the desk couldn't figure out why her machine wouldn't take my credit card but it would take my debit card-- a frustrating experience all around. Go there if you want only cosmetic procedures done and not treatment for a problem. The doctor himself is eager to help but I feel he didn't "do all that he could" so to speak.

Dr. Friedman and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Waiting room was empty, they got my in early, and did not leave me waiting in the room. I will definitely recommend this dermalogist to anyone.
