Fortunately, I've not had to see Dr. Brown again till very recently, after first seeing her some five years ago. She is an absolute gem, and in her follow up phone call to the recent in person visit, she has ordered an ulrasound for me, at the Penticton Hospital, much closer to where I now live than is the Kelowna Hospital, near where I oreviously lived,

The only good thing about having a heart problem is having Dr Brown as my cardiologist, I have never felt so seen, understood, and validated.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Brown - she booked an extra follow up at my request and ensured all my questions were answered. She did mention that staffing has been a challenge at both the hospital and the office and that we should call if we think something is overdue or has been missed somehow. Hope that helps!

Office staff is dismissive, Dr Brown did not complete follow up or tests as described by stress test results. Dr. Brown did not even return call as promised by her staff. Be careful with this doctor my experience she does not follow standard protocol as reported on health portal.

Dr. Brown was attentive to my issue, communicated clearly and in simple terms, and I felt heard and listened to. She is definitely a specialist in her field and I feel safe and that she has my best interest at heart. I completely trust her. Thank You Dr. Brown.

Dr Brown took over my care from another doctor - there is no comparison. No one else made a plan or explained what was happening - in one day under Dr Brown, my care moved forwards more than a week under another doctor. No question, she saved my life.

Dr. Brown is tops, hands down. Other doctor would not listen to me when I said I couldn’t function on recommended dose of heart med due to dizziness and very low BP saying I was on best med for heart failure. She listened and tried me on lower dose decreased those symptoms as well as helping me to increase heart blood circulation to low normal.
She is kind and very personable and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable and I feel so blessed that she took me on as a patient.
