This physician abandoned a 2nd year medical student, allowing her to monitor and deliver a baby, totally unsupervised in the Labor and Delivery Unit at the University of Colorado Hospital, when he was working there. Dr. Jobin purposefully left the student to monitor the patient and deliver the baby. The medical student was not qualified to do this, and did it totally unsupervised. This is blatant disregard for patient safety and medical ethics.
