You are better off seeking services from other urologists in Abilene. Dr. Johnson is unprofessional and does not look at you as a person who has health issues. He will judge you based on how your insurance will benefit him and his staff. I had to get the run around from other doctors only to get back to Dr. Johnson for services. These other doctors discovered what the specific problem was and referred me back to Dr. Johnson to address since he was the urologist who first saw me. Then, he refused to schedule follow up appointments or provide prescription medication. Very unethical and questionalbe business practices. He would let you suffer rather than help you. I do not recommend Dr. Johnson. Please seek other urologists in Abilene.

Dr. Johnson was okay, very professional but in my opion doesn't communicate well with his patients. I had a procedure done and I was suppose to return to his office within a 2week period frame.. Never did i recieve a call telling me what was going on, I had to be the one to call and figure out what was going on. HIS OFFICE STAFF IS VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Office Manager is RUDE. I did not care for her at all. Made me pay more than the surgery cost up front only to refund it to me months later even after I tried to explain the deductible situation. Dr Johnson was very unconcerned about the continued pain my husband had after surgery and pretty much dismissed his concerns without even trying to help. After multiple pain doctors and surgeries and procedures, we are still dealing with the nerve damage caused after Dr. Johnson's orchiectomy. We will not be returning to see this doctor.

I liked Dr. Johnson. He was knowledgeable and had good bedside manner. BUT his office manager was incredibly rude. She does not put patient care first, she only cares about how much money she is going to get from you and your insurance company!
