I found Dr. Wellman to be professional and knowledgeable. He asked me suitable questions and I found his suggestions on solutions to be appropriate. His staff were warm and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Wellman.

In 2019 I had an appointment with Dr. Wellman for ongoing dizziness. THREE YEARS LATER I finally got the results from a test he didn’t want to run because he was sure I was just being dramatic and lying. Turns out something showed up on the test and it has to be redone- my doctor and I have been trying to get in contact with him for weeks since we got the report back and nothing. Not only was he condescending, dismissive and overall ignorant, but truly just a waist of time. Does not care about his patients unless they’re surgical. Don’t waist your time- it’s worth the 2 year wait to go somewhere else.

He dosent want to know once he sees you. It is impossible to get hold off him. His office is either closed or you dont get any answer.

Spent 5 minutes, no questions about symptoms and no mention of reviews of imaging. Scope down nose that’s about it. Impossible to get through on phone. Did not seem interested in doing a deep dive into how he could be of help. Said avoid surgery but no offer of conservative solutions that could be used instead. The buzzer and Covid protocols make it feel like you are entering a prison and not a health appointment. I once really liked him .. perhaps he is overwhelmed with a backlog of patients.

I recently had sinus surgery at GGH with Dr. Wellman. Not only was he informative and caring, he always arrived with a smile behind his mask. His office staff are very friendly and rarely did I have to wait more than 5 minutes to get in. The surgery itself, was more than I expected but he did warn me it would take a while for the entire healing process to take place. I can breathe again! Thank you !
