Dr. Anctil at Tucson Orthopedic Institute took the greatest care of me. I broke my leg while traveling in the UK. Dr. Anctil called me directly, relieved my fears, shared valuable knowledge for my flight home, saw me and scheduled my surgery within days of my return. My surgery went well and the follow up care with Dr. Anctil, and with his PA Breanna Childers, was wonderful. They were caring and thoughtful, and took time to talk with me to get to know me and care for me as a whole person, not just a patient with a broken leg. Five months after my surgery and I'm playing tennis, walking for fitness, traveling again and I'm back to my healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr Anctil for excellent care.

Prior to surgery, they placed DVT devices on my legs to stop clots from forming. After the surgery, they gave them to me, so I could use them at home for a week. 5 months later the device provider let me know that I was responsible for the $3450 devices. On top of that, my broken fibula and ruptured tendon left my foot pointing to the right. After the surgery and recovery, my foot is still pointing to the right and won't bend back like my other foot. 12 physical therapy sessions have helped, but it still needs work.

I have had to have several different foot surgeries the last few years.. Dr. Anctil is great. He answered all my concerns and my surgery’s (bunion, remove old screws, straighten toe...) on both feet turned out perfect...I highly recommend him!

Was referred to Dr Anctil by GP, experiencing terrible pain in my ankle from osteoarthritis. Dr Anctil performed a fusion in my foot. Having done a bit of research I was apprehensive about the results. I had almost no pain after the surgery. Dr Anctil told me it could take up to a year to heal and at 10 months post surgery was almost good as new. My incision scars, barely noticeable. He is a very talented Dr that I highly recommend. His wonderful staff was kind and caring

More concerned about his off-site appointment than my broken foot. Out of three surgeons, he was only one recommending doing nothing except an air-cast and wait and see if it healed and didn't cause pain.

Dr. Anctil fused my ankle after the failed attempt of another doctor. Finally very little to no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Anctil.

Dr Anctil and his staff or very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I had an ankle replacement done and I am so thankful! After 50 years of being in pain with every step I took, I can now walk without pain. I am so thankful I found Dr Anctil and Tuscon Ortho. Everything went the way Dr Anctil explained and things were done efficiently and with compassion. I definitely recommend Dr. Anctil to anyone who has ankle or foot problems. He is a miracle worker.
