I got to my appointment early but had to wait in line at the receptionists for 10 minutes. When I registered they put me in an exam room where I waited for 45min. Finally a nurse came in and said the dr was seeing a patient who was on time first and I would have to wait. I told her I was early and she said well the time stamp on your paperwork says you were 5 min late!!!! So because I had to wait 10 min to be registered he saw another patient! !! I left and will never go back.

With to Dr Arum for osteoporosis. He made me feel comfortable and from the first minute I meet him I had the feeling that I was in the best possible hands. He is so knowledgeable and so willing to share information. I could not be happier with my experience.

Went to Dr Arum for overactive thyroid. He was very helpful in making me understand what the possible causes were and the course of treatment for each. He came in early so he could see me on short notice (my primary requested appointment on Friday, I was in Arum's office on the next Wednesday. I am completely satisfied.

I found Dr. Arum to be very thorough and helpful. He spent an hour and 15 minutes with me discussing my condition and concerns. He even drew me a chart that explained the the causes and effects of my disorder. Very kind as well.

I found Dr. Arum to be very rude and annoying. He did not address my concerns and basically indicated that I was stupid for having them. He asked me over and over "Why are you here?" I gave him several answers and finally lost my temper and told him that with a three inch file in front of him, that if he didn't know, we both had a problem. I tried to see a different endo, but he refuses to give "permission" for me to transfer to another doc in the practice. HUGE ego, but not backed up by experience or knowledge or even a reasonable bedside manner. Because of all this, I haven't seen him or any other endo in about 16 months. So much for healthcare.

I have seen this Dr for my thyroid problems. He is in fact a very nice person but not very nice as a doctor. He does not help resolve issues or talk about all my options with my health. I think I know my body better than he does but if he won't let me know my options then how can I trust him to help me. I am currently looking for a new endo. I would recommend him but just beware that he has his mind made up and doesn't care about what you think or feel is going on.
