Awful. I had full Menieres attack in his office. Gave me an explosive reaming out for an allergy test I had taken to try and figure out what was aggravating my disease. If I could have got up I would have arrested him.
Former policeman. Avoid him at all costs!

Awesome Dr. And he helped me so much with crippling migraines and I am so grateful to him for his help. I was sorry he retired as it is so hard to find another neurologist.

Dr.Jeff Donat has been an unbelievable help in my ongoing problems with chronic migraines caused from a fall and severe concussion. He is great with his bedside manners and could not be more concerned, attentive, sincere and knowledgeable. I don't know my other people on this site had so much trouble with him and/or his staff but for me he has and continues to be one of the BEST neurologists I have ever seen and believe me I have seen plenty over the last 6 years. I am sorry to hear that he is retiring as now I have to go through the painful process of searching for another neurologist. I wish him nothing but the best in his retirement days. I was one of those people who rated Dr. Donat positively on here and didn't understand why people had negative comments (as my experience was good). HOWEVER... my further visits with him went terribly. He didn't seem to remember who I was, was disorganized with my paperwork, and then told me that my problems were due to my weight. When I lost weight and still was ill, he then said my problems was caused by depression, but his comment contradicts current research on my illness, and I certainly wasn't depressed until after I became very ill. I wasn't getting better with Dr. Donat, so I found a DIFFERENT and BETTER specialist who saw me as a person and actually HELPED me. Dr. Donat made a good FIRST impression, but my last impression was that I was WAY better off with someone else.

I don't understand why people are going crazy. I went in with a really crazy amount of symptoms, and I was really upset and frustrated. He listened to me, wrote everything down, performed a lot of tests and really took his time. I think some people are seeking miracles, not a doctor. When people complain about having to take a bunch of pills, what did you expect? A massage? He's a doctor. He will prescribe medication that may or may not help. You have to be patient and try everything and not lose your****. We're all in pain, deal with it. If you don't want help, don't go to a doctor. Dr. Donat has helped me SO much, I don't know what I'd do without his help. Thanks Dr Donat!

He does not care about the patient as much as making an extra buck. If you are looking to trust your brain to an incompetent, unempathetic, greedy, egomaniac then see Donat. Terrible bedside manner and terrible doctor. He looks at you as a dollar sign. I am a professional and would expect a fellow professional to act professionally, he did not. PLEASE SEE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Dr. Donat he thinks he knows it all - informs you about stuff.. just tells you to on on medication.. and if you dont just take a handfull of pills, he doesnt want to see you anymore.

I would never suggest someone visit this doctor, he has no concern with the patient as an individual and prescribes meds based on statistics. He told me I had severe depression which I did not, I was just in pain with migraines everyday! He would be depressed too if he has that kind of pain on a daily basis! I left his office in tears after he walked put because I refused to take all the meds he was trying to prescribe at once.
