Dr. Stronger is very good but the front staff are so bad that I am thinking of asking my Family Physician for a different cardiologist. The admin staff at the front gossip terribly and loudly about patients. Very unprofessional. Dr. Stronger's secretary sent me a letter about a missed appointment. In actuality I had called the week before to cancel. She says she did not get the message because she was sick that week. Also it would also help if patients could be given a heads up about the many changes and expectations during the pandemic.

Dr. Stronger is efficient, cordial, punctual and I believe he gets me any testing I might need. I have known him for about 7 years. But his assistant/ receptionist was so rude to me yesterday I could not believe what I was hearing. I had just had an echocardiogram in the a.m. and was phoning to book an appointment for the results exactly like I was told by Dr.Stronger last year and the letters I got from HSC every time they cancelled due to COVID-19. Apparently she had attached a pink note to letter no. 1, saying I would be notified with an appointment. Well that letter was long gone as advised by HSC to destroy and they would be issuing a new letter with details of new appointment. I have no intention of being talked to in that manner. I am even feeling she might delay my appointment. In the past I noted that office did not return my calls a couple of times. There is no way I will take this kind of treatment in the future even if it means that I will have to ask my doctor for a referral to a different cardiologist. This was just uncalled for.

Dr. Stronger, although not talkative, answers my questions and refers me on to other tests when warranted. However, his receptionist is rude, condescending and is extremely unfriendly and I get the impression that she does not like people. I find this frustrating as it takes an extremely long time to get through to his office (the last time she put me on hold I hung up after 6 minutes) and it took half an hour to get through and when I go to the office she is never at the reception desk.

Everytime I have to call, the staff is rude and short. Cecile likes to interrupt while your speaking. She won't answer your questions and will talk over you. In person, if you have a question, Cecile treats you as though you are wasting her precious time and your concern isn't important. A little bit of manners and respect goes a long way. Time to get off the pedestal Cecile. People who go to Dr. Stronger have health issues and need a little more compassion then going to your family doctor. If you can't show a little compassion for people who may have serious heart issues, your in the wrong job!!

Respectful, conscientious, serious, concerned and thorough. Doesn't believe in chitchat and he's not the least bit outgoing so I found him a little hard to build a report with but he did what needed to be done. He urged me to take the tests I needed and to see a specialist who did solve my problem. I feel I could go back to him anytime and he would do whatever he could to help me.

Dr. Stronger has taken the time and effort to fully investigate the issues related to my mothers heart condition. He has made appropriate referrals and order the correct tests. His diligence and determination to find the cause and the right treatment plan for my mother has been refreshing. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to him from my family Dr. bc my other one retired. I live 2 hrs away and find if I don't book other appointment that day, then he is a waste of my time. I have to see him at least once every 3 to 6 months just to be told nothing has changed with my heart murmur. He orders mri's and ekg 's for me and then when he gets the results he says some other Dr must of ordered them. (?) He sent me to a specialist once, the guy got mad bc he didn't have updated info in my file and told me not to come back until I had a updated mri. That was 3 years ago and 3 mri's since and I haven't seen the specialist since. Every time I go to Dr. Stronger he keeps asking me what this specialist said and I keep telling him I've only seen him the one time. Then he tells me I should phone the guys office but he won't give me the phone number, he just tells me to look it up in the phone book. As far as I'm concerned if your going to send my to a specialist and I tell you all this stuff has gone on, then I believe it is your job to arrange another appointment for me to see this specialist, not tell me I should call and see what is going on. Very unprofessional as far as I'm concerned.

Dr. Stronger has been my cardiologist since late 2015 when I had a massive heart attack. He's smart and gets to the point. I trust him.

Dr. Stronger's staff are neglectful and have don't show or feel empathy for his patients
; they never answer the phone in person when calling for an appointment; it's always to leave a message and most of the time they don't call you back. We're going to seek another Heart Specialist that has staff who cares for people. I'm giving the doctor a middle rating because of his staff.

I was referred to Dr. Stronger last year after my heart attack. My first visit went very well. I recent had a visit to his office this past thursday Feb. 8 and I must say that my experience was totally different. Any questions I had for his , I did not get a straight answer. It felt like I was wasting his time and it was definitely a waste of mine after driving an hour to see him. I do not recommend and I will be speaking with my Family Dr. about this.
