This 'physician' was by far the WORST experience I've ever had. And something that my health may NEVER completely recover from! To start, the reception person was horrendous! In person, not awful but on the phone! Dr. Young had upped a med from 300 mg to 3000 mg (Something my GP said NEVER should be done!) For the whole week I was literally paralyzed. Called every day to get Dr. Young to call me back to no avail. Was even yelled at by reception for 'calling so much'. Of course I did. I couldnt move so I missed more than a week's work. Finally had to have a friend drive me to the office and DEMAND to see the doctor... I was in tears I was in SO MUCH PAIN!!! This 'doctor' went to the computer during every visit of mine. God knows what she was checking but she did NOT know what she was doing. Very frightening when you have to take narcotics! Needless to say, I never went back. Also lost my job due to missing time. WORST DOCTOR EVER? Please DON'T see for yourself!

to all potential patients research on all sites and pay close attention to the ratings; I wish I had before I wasted my money and 2 hours in her office. The front desk is horrible service; even making an app was a difficult task. After I had made an app with them a month in advance; the day of my app I get a msg at 7:20am telling me that the doctor is unable to see me and to reschedule, need I mention this is pain mgmt and medications are involved; but they do not care. Young's office is so unprofessional and rude I am surprised they stay in business.

I tried to make an appointment with this Dr. and the Office Manager had horrible customer service skills. She refused to make an appointment without referral and authorization from Tricare. Military insurance Tricare Standard does not have to give an authorization or have a referral and the office manager insisted she had to have it to get paid even when I explained what the insurance provider said. I had my previous doctor send records and call and still she would not make an appointment for me. I believe this is prejudice against service members and that she didnt want me as a patient due to my type of insurance. She was not helpful when asked to call the insurance provider or my previous doctor for any needed information since she did not believe me. So...if you are a service member in pain BEWARE of this office!!

Dr. Young is a knowledgeable doc. However, I am changing after 1 yr. due to staff changing and cancelling appts. at the last minute, sometimes even after I have left my home and already on the road. Her staff is terrible; rude and condascending. Phone calls are not returned. Problem now is you can't see Dr. Young you see the receptionist only. Seems to excessively push and dispsense narcotic pain meds. One disaster resulted in my being hospitalized for 3 days in a locked psych hospital for pain mgmt! What a total horror experience for me and a waste of my ins. co's and Medicare money! Had followup appt scheduled and called day before to verify, and receptionist told me I had NO followup appts. I am done, this is negatively affecting my current and future health.

DO NOT go to this doctor! After multiple visits to the office and dealing with all the staff there on one level or another, I am left with the impression of a very cold, unresponsive approach to patients. In all my visits there, neither the doctor nor the PA did any hands-on examination of me. Their assessment of my pain was completely verbal. At leaset I didn't get the impression that they discredited what I've been experiencing. It has been repeatedly frustrating to go to the office and wait LONG PERIODS OF TIME for my scheduled appointments, and then to leave with no answers, no game plan, no hope for any relief. Through random conversations at physical therapy, I have met three other patients of Dr. Young and each of them offered similar (and totally unsolicited) assessments about her one who likes her approach to dealing with patients. She may be very "book smart" but this doctor lacks what it takes to connect with people and build patients' trust.

I am a patient, also an RN,and was sched. to see DR.YOUNG for a severe flare-up of a chronic, very painful condition. I was NEVER told ahead of time that I would not be seeing her, but rather be pawned off on her PA. All of my records were in order. After being seen by the PA, he repeatedly left the exam room to "confer" w/Dr.Young in her office. I NEVER SAW HER. I was advised to do PT/Rehab(which I'd BEEN doing for 2 mos.along with cortisone injections), and take Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain. When I explained that I had been on and still needed the prescription pain meds that were "initially" prescribed by my PCP, I was told that I "will not be given anything stronger as I may overdose!??" I was also told that "they" decided who was or wasn't given a prescription for pain?? I was treated with NO respect or compassion by this doctor and her PA, wasted time that could have been spent with a caring, knowledgeable doctor, and made to feel like a drug seeker. A nightmare, indeed.
