Dr Hasegawa's assistant, Lana, is very pleasant and efficient. Dr Hasegawa is very focused, efficient and explains everything very well to a "lay" person. My cataract surgeries went very well and wee highly successful, thank you so much!

She is the best doctor you can expect to have !!! She is quick, efficient, focused and highly deducted to her patients. I have yet to see any other physician that comes even close to her !!!

Let me start with assistant Lana. Very pleasant. Nothing negative to say.
Dr. Hasagava, if there was a way to give more than five star I would give.
Pleasant/explains well and takes care of you. Very professional.
She really cares of our well being when comes to eyes. Best in business.

As a caregiver for my 95-year-old mother, I didn't appreciate being treated like dirt by the "assistant" named Lana. (She refused to give her last name.) She chastised my mom for not bringing a list of medication. Even though people that age are known for having poor memories, she said they do not remind their patients. Really, not a little special treatment for a senior that old? This Lana seems to have a god complex.

Dr Hasegawa performed surgery on both of my 87 year old mother's eyes. August and September 2017. Excellent results. Lana her assistant is kind and thorough. Waits in the office tend to be long; up to 1 hour behind schedule. But this is because she takes the time necessary to thoroughly answer all questions. Surgery at Lakeshore is well structured and the pre-op and post-op care in the hospital is excellent. Mom can now see colours and has new glasses. She did not realize how bad her vision was until it was corrected.

Excellent ophthalmologist. She and her assistant should rate a 10. Makes you feel comfortable and not just a number. Would advise anyone to go to Dr.Hasegawa.Wonderful #10 in the books.

Dr. Hasegawa is extremely knowledgeable and has the expertise both in the operating room and office. A recent visit to another Ophthalmologist he refused to operate on me whereas Dr. Hasegawa understood my condition and had the compassion and undertook the surgery. She is a great Doctor.
