Dr. Hong Yan simply changed my life. After multiple miscarriages and a downward spiral of women’s health issues, I spoke in depth with Dr. Yan about my symptoms and what was bothering me so badly. My first appointment in September, I walked into her office was amazed how she is managing her clinic singlehandedly and fluidly during the pandemic. She performed her initial consult and quickly said she knew what was going on with me, from our previous conversations. For months I tried to get a diagnosis from my MD but never could. In one appointment, from symptoms and the timeline alone, Dr. Yan was able to tell me I quite clearly have Endometriosis. She said with reoccurring appointments she can treat my Endo, will also help us get pregnant and stay pregnant with another baby in the future. Dr. Yan knows her needles! Within 3 weeks, I started to feel like a different person. The pain that would keep me bedridden twice a month, for days was no longer. She helped treat my anxiety also. With the assistance of a herb she gave me, elimination of gluten, and Dr. Yan’s brilliant work, we were pregnant by Christmas! For the first time in 18 months, I have successfully kept a baby in my belly and I truly honestly believe that I can thank Dr. Yan for such a massive part of it. I could feel the shift internally of my hormones the entire time I saw her for acupuncture and know they are in a much better place than what they were, pregnancy aside. The best accupuncturist in Calgary!! Not only is Dr Yan such a nice person to talk with, always friendly and smiling which makes all your visit enjoyable. She is extremely knowledgeable and so experienced in anything you ask. I went to see her for fertility related issues and has helped me so much that became successfully pregnant. I wouldn’t be able to do it without her. She not only listens to your problem she truly helps. I would highly recommend Dr Yan to anyone struggling with fertility like I did.

Love Her had bladder cancer made it through 7moths of chemotherapy twice a week I believe it was I believe it was immense in getting through it I Love her

Dr. Yan is great at her job. When I was suffering with anxiety she helped me get off of my anxiety pills. She also helped me with sleep and to regulate my menstrual cycle. I am so thankful I found her!
