Awful! Between the time I waited for my sonogram, saw Gonzalez, and walked out the door, it was a total of 3 HOURS!! The staff is too busy, they over book and at one point I saw Gonzalez in the hallway just hanging out. I was looking for a new OB and this is not the place. When I finally got to see the Dr, we were going through my history. I told him I was Vegan. He astonishingly asked me, "How Vegan are you?" WHAT? I basically had to define what a Vegan is. He also knew I was agitated for having to wait so long and said, "Don't blame me. Blame the scheduling offices." He was also very condisending. I do not recommend him or the entire NYU maternal/fetal practice.

Dr. Gonzalez was quite nice and seemed well-meaning but his memory -- in our experience -- was terrifyingly bad. He forgot very important, critical pieces of information about my pregnancy from one visit to the next. Based on this, he scheduled tests that weren't necessary. And he kept telling us to remind him to check certain things each visit and make sure he performed his "due diligence." Yikes -- I don't want to be the one reminding my OBGYN what he needs to do to ensure I have a safe pregnancy! After a number of appointments like these, we fled to another doctor.

Horrible! Dr Gonzalez delivered my baby 2 months ago. VERY rude and unprofessional- treated us like we were uneducated and undeserving of his time and effort... He showed up to my room at 4pm when his shift began in the morning! Upon entering my room, never introduced himself or spoke to US, just the nurse. I was in so much pain and he was informed by the nurse but refused to give me meds, nor did he even check up on me! 4 hours of pushing and again, still in sooo much pain, the nurse went to get him- he came in for 2 seconds, asks how long I've been pushing (shouldn't be know since HE ordered it!) and again, instead of speaking to me, giving me options, etc says. "Prepare for c-section then" and walks out!!!! The next time he comes in is when baby's crowning (thanks to the nurses who didn't want a c-section for me after all this pushing) After delivery, he "JOKES" about how he knew that mentioning "c-section" would do the trick!!! Such a horrible first time experience!

I would have to say that I really didn't not like Dr. Gonzalez. He was very unprofessional and didn't know what in the world he was doing. I would not EVER recommend anyone to go to him. If he would have looked closer my one twin probably would have survived. I was a VERY high risk case and wish that he would have realized it was over his head. He never once followed up with me after he delivered my babies. My OB/ GYN knew way more than him. Spare your self and go to SLC or Vegas.
