I had a heart arrhythmia diagnosed by a cardiologist who sent her a letter detailing it. The staff including the NP never mentioned it or. Suggested follow up or medicine. The cardiologist told me I had had it for many years. I had to have clearance by Dr Troast 2 times and she never mentioned. It was "obvious on the EKG" according to the cardiac doctor. I have been told I cNt have refills for my prescriptions until I have an appt nd have only 2 weeks nd the next appt is 8 weeks away . I switched doctors and the new one I see directly and I am asked f I need medicines before my next visit. My online requests are filled promptly and correctly.

She has been my doctor for over 15 years and has seen me through many serious illnesses, I originally lived in Europe before coming to the states, first in Boston and Florida since 1985 - I wouldn't go to another doctors office if you paid me..she's the best.. I hope she outlives me by many years so I will be in her excellent care...66 and still going because of her...

About three weeks ago I was seen at the practice by a nurse practitioner and upon check out the lady working at the desk said that I needed a physical and scheduled me for one and handed me an appointment card with 4/18/2013 @ 3:30pm. I even received phone calls from the office about the appointment. I showed up for the appointment on 4/18/2013 @ 3:15pm to be told that I did not have any scheduled appointments. I was told to get the card from my car, which I did. They told me very rudely that I would not be seeing the doctor today as they did not know what happened but they did not have time for me. I explained that I had to take time off of work and that I needed medication refills. In the middle of a crowded waiting room the nurse asks me what medications I need refilled. When I questioned her she stated that if I am so unhappy with their practice that I should find a new doctor. I most definitely will, no problem

They always put me in hold, for once I needed prompt medical attention, to that they said the nurse will have to call u back and let me know if she can squeeze me in, I have always had to wait up to an hour or more sometimes!!!

This doctor runs her office like a money-making business with 5 ARNPs. It's almost impossible to actually see the doctor...and you deal with so many staff that no one really knows you or your concerns. They frequently mixed up my condition. I quit Dr. Troast & Co. and got a new doctor that actually sees me!
