I trust him completely. He and his team are efficient but take the time to care about patients.

I saw Dr. Magnuson in 2004 he performed a nerve block to determine if surgery would help, he is very good at what he does. I saw him again recently and he listened was kind and he did what he could to help me. This doctor IMO does care for his patients, having chronic pain myself I understand how one feels when cut off of their pain medicines as in prior review. These doctors put their licenses at risk to treat us all the time. They have to be careful and so do we Careful to use meds correctly and to do what we can to help ourselves by trying whatever we can to improve, Sometimes meds are it with no treatment options Dr. Magnuson is an intraventional pain management doctor and much more .

Dr. Magnuson MUST be one of the WORST doctors, I have ever experienced. He does NOT care for his patients. He thinks he is GOD. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this doctor as possible, unless you like to waste your time and your money! Very arrogant and very rude!!! Stay Away for Dr. Magnuson~

I went to Dr. Magnuson for a severe spinal condition by my GP because he stated that Dr. Magnuson was "Board certified in PAIN MANAGEMENT. Dr. Magnuson's business card states this fact. My research found that he is not board certified in Pain Management. Pain management certification requires an additional 2 years of education specifically in this field. He does not have this education. I was treated by Dr. Magnuson for 7 months. During these appointments he was not present only his nurse Mary Liter treated me. Her business card states that she is an ARNP or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. According to the Idaho Board of Health there is no such classification in Idaho nursing regulations that uses this designation. They treated me with indifference and disdain. My new doctor is board certified in pain management. He is a wonderful doctor and spends the time with you. My doctor sees me and not his nurse. He treats me not his nurse. Pain is an epidemic and Magnuson doesn't care.

Never diagnosed my condition correctly, nor did he send me out to get a diagnostic workup. Gives pain medication and hardly tries other treatment options. Not just with me, but with several other patients, if he gets frustrated with you, he "fires" you and cuts you off cold-turkey from the extremely strong pain meds he put you on. He screamed at me and terrified me. Another woman was cut off cold turkey, no tapering or referal given. She tried to kill herself with withdrawal was so bad, ended up in ICU.... dangerous egostistical doctor
