Dr Carney’s e extensive knowledge and experience were a paramount feature of my recent consultation. Evidence of his expertise is his prodigious body of scientific papers.
Moreover, he delivers his diagnosis and advice in layman’s/laywoman terms. Thus, one is knows the “score” and has confidence in the way ahead.
Both he and his receptionist are most welcoming.

Dr Gavin carney would be one of the best Doctor to see for renal failure. One of the most caring dr we have felt with. The Woden hospital Doctors are the ones that don’t look after some patients.

I have been seeing Dr Carney for years
He has a very good manner, his knowledge is impressive and his preparedness to refer me to other specialists when needed is reassuring
His memory for medical issues that I have had in the past is astounding
On top of that I would be dead without his excellent care over the years
He isn’t the most punctual As he attends to the person in front of him not primarily to his timetable Sometimes I have short visits and when I have a flare up he takes whatever time he needs to sort things out

May give the impression of not caring - WRONG –
He knows his stuff, changed my hard to control high blood pressure to very normal and halved my medication intake . Great result!

Have been seeing him for 4 years now. Perfection at its best, that is all I need to say. Super smart, very detailed and interested in every aspect of patient health. My only worry is who I am going to be seeing when he retires as I live on one kidney.

He wasn't that interested in my mother's care and told our GP said she was ready for palliative care at least three years before she acutally died. It was very distressing.

All round good bloke. What more can I say. Well I saw Dr Carney for my kidney problem and I thought it was it. Its now 2 years later and I'm still going strong.
