His knowledge and compassion is a relief. He listens to you and knows exactly what needs to be done but doesn’t rule anything out. He also checks up on you personally which is not what a lot of doctors would do.

Dr Avila is a lifesaver... very attentive to my needs and loved the fact that he kept checking up on me afterwards. I had a bad spasm and this cold weather was killing me and if it wasn't for him I would still be in an uncomfortable pain.

We we're early, Dr was late but one hour first visit and two hours on second visit. So far no real relief from pain. Still in the let's try different things. But not sure want to keep going to such a poorly run practice.

Dr. Avila is Wonderful, the best ! Kind, great bedside maner. BUT! The Blonde Girl that has been working there for a long time in the front i think her name is Angela . Is horrable, mean, double books pathients that are in pain . We have to set there for 3 + hours then see the Dr. Then wait another hour to get our perscriptions . Shes rude. I feel bad for Dr. avila because he needs to know how bad she treats us. Maybe we should pray for her.

Wonderful wonderful man that has a heart of gold. I would say he has saved my life. The biggest issue you have to deal with is a really POOR manged office, and horriable evil office manager. She absolutely cares NOTHING about the patients.... and I mean nothing. She is just a horriable horriable self serving egotistical woman that could care less about anyone else but herself. The entire staff needs to be fired and replaced. But the care you will recieve from Dr Avila will be well over top notch. You have to get through the mismanged office, and rude staff first though. You WILL be affected by this staff and stressed out by them. But Dr Avala will change your life.

Though Dr. Avila is a wonderful physician, his staff, particularly his office manager, are definitely not in the medical field because they wish to help others. I question whether Del, his ofc mgr, even likes people. Ar. Avila takes his time, explains things in detail, & overall is a wonderful dr. Again, that being said, the normal wait time in his waiting room averages 3 hrs & you do have to deal with his staff. So, you have to think about whether it is worth it or whether it may be better to seek out another pain dr.
