Hip re3placement in November 2023 - best of the best and recovery has been easy

Prof Yates performed a bilateral hip joint replacement – both hips at the same time. I was released from hospital in less than 3 days and my recovery has been amazing and remarkable. Now 6 months on my movement and quality of life are excellent. Prof Yates and his team are wonderful and I highly recommend them.

Hopefully better on theory than actual surgery. I would not recommend him as a practical orthopedic surgeon for knee replacements. Left me worse off than before I started and with a really bad scar, swelling which lasted six months and now constant pain and reduced mobility. He came highly recommended by a friend but I bitterly regret not using the orthopedic surgeon who did my other knee. The end results were completely different. Who knows what actually went on but I think he did a poor job.

He’s a legend. Did a marvellous job doing full hip replacement. So pleasant and approachable, I’d recommend the Professor for any surgical procedure. 10/10 from me, and cheeky smile for free. Thankyou so much.

A trust worthy and a very knowledgeable professional with easy to talk to approach and not really after your money. Did a complete hip replacement with no follow-up issues and years later he correctly diagnosed a painful problem in my Lumbar area and initiated a correct treatment process. Very helpful and fully recommended.

Almost 12 months out from a double hip replacement. This guy is a machine in theatre - both hips replaced and also realigned my legs (corrected severe femoral anteversion) in 90 mins. Not a simple op at all, loads of time was spent with pre operative planning. I can't believe how quickly I was back on my feet! I still have another 12 months of rehab before full recovery - I was told 24 month full recovery by Prof Yates. Highly recommended for hip replacements. Straight shooter and nothing is sugar coated. My scars have healed really well. Perfect tiny stitches. Zero complaints from me.

Horrible experience using this doctor, his communication was as shocking as his surgery. I'm left with a hideous scar thanks to his 3rd rate work , didn't even supervise the closure of my wound and left with a serious infection that took 5 weeks to cure.
Don't use this guy
