I seen doctor Fisher today & will never be back again...I went there for a 2nd opinion after a fellow rheumy dr gave me a confusing diagnosis and prescribed plaquenil after saying I presented as an autoimmune case clinically but my test did not confirm...Dr Fisher walked in looking annoyed 25 minutes late and said why are you here you are seeing another Dr. Would not let me explain & when I said I was frustrated & voiced my concerns about on going pain, fatigue, tremor & declining health & taking a med with no clear diagnosis she said my BP was high & I was angry & went on this rant about how Dr.'s are ppl too & I probably have coronary disease though I have ITP another autoimmune disorder there is more than likely nothing else wrong & she is not going to steal any other Dr patient ...wrote me a script for HBP meds & sent me on my way! Rude & added to my frustrations...

Dr Fisher is a very nice woman who is very intelligent. She will take her time with you and allow you to discuss all of your issues. The problem I have encountered is her staff. They are the most ignorant and disrespectful staff that I have EVER encountered. It is a huge turn off. If you want to be disrespected by rude people, then this is the place to go. This applies to her greensburg office as I have never been to any other office. It is a shame that her staffs rude behavior overshadows her knowledge and skill.

Took her time and explained how the drugs she prescribed would work. Asked me what I preferred, and not just what she was giving me. Made sure I was comfortable with drugs given to me, and asked if I had any questions a couple of times. I don't know what happened with some of the bad ratings here, but I really feel like she is a great dr. One thing she really helped with was my muscle spasms...she tried me on one medication that didn't help, and kept trying until we got to a muscle relaxer that I take to this day, which was a real life saver. I lost dr. Fisher when she moved, but I think I may find her and go with her since I'm not fond of my current dr. (I'm here to find a new doc, and saw Dr. Fisher listed) The staff at the office in Natrona (where I saw Dr. Fisher) was more than helpful.

Bad Service and bad bedside manners. Was not nice and seemed to not care about my problems. I brought a list of questions and she wouldn't listen to them.

Unlike the other responder, I like that she started with her own research and did not just accept what previous MD came up with. Takes her time and treats me as an individual - we often talk about things other than my medical issues. Keeps current on ongoing research in her field. Patiently explains what she thinks and why - will discuss tests, possible treatments in as much depth/detail as I wish to go and always asks me if there is one option I would prefer over another. Very considerate too - the one time she was running very late (an hour or so) and I was the last appointment, she told the girls in the office to go on home at their regular time and she would take care of closing up. Definately has patients comfort in mind - always asks if something has helped me. I also like that she is involved in her community donating time at a charity clinic for the "working poor" who have no insurance.

She would not listen to what my medical history entailed and dismissed my past diagnosis. She was not very interested in what I was going through.
