Biography
I am a Board Certified Physiatrist (aka: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist). I completed my residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago; obtained my MD from the University of Illinois, Chicago; and my Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I am most well-known for my expertise as a Prolotherapy doctor. Prolotherapy is the medical procedure that stimulates the body to repair painful, injured areas. I was blessed to have trained under the respected Prolotherapy doctor Gustav Hemwall, MD. He is considered the grandfather of Prolotherapy and I was truly blessed to be his apprentice at his office in Oak Park, Illinois (more on that below). Dr. Hemwall was trained by George Hackett, MD who developed and coined the term "Prolotherapy." My wonderful team and I run two state-of-the-art Prolotherapy and motion diagnostic buildings, Caring Medical Florida and the Hauser Neck Center, located in sunny Fort Myers, Florida. My practice at the neck center is currently focused on C1-C2 instability-related conditions and complicated neurological cases, as well as full-body and complex cases, such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
