This man was incredibly unhelpful and treated me with great disdain and disrespect. Rather than asking questions to gather information, it felt like I was being cross-examined by a nasty barrister. He questioned and seemed to disbelieve everything I said, including a diagnosis of asthma from many years back by a top thoracic physician; the fact I had had several hospitalisations due to asthma seemed irrelevant. He strongly insinuated I was basically making things up (and his letter to my GP seems to confirm his opinion of me). I felt very upset at the way he spoke to me, and even at the fact I had to strip completely my top half for the physical exam. I know I should have asserted myself more, but I was so upset and angered by the whole appointment. I will never go back to that man.
