I am extremely disappointed with the lack of concern, professionalism and care by Dr Monea and her staff. She convinced me to purchase very expensive bifocals and when I struggled with the prescription and could not see properly after receiving them she told me to wait it and it would take time for me to adjust. After nearly a month of feeling ill because I could not see properly she sent me to a specialist. The specialist provided a new prescription which Dr Monea was going to put into my glasses. I left the glasses at her office and was told I would receive a call when they were ready. After 2 weeks without a call I phoned and checked in. They still were not ready. I finally received a call that they were ready a few days later. Went into the office tried them on and Dr Monea check them. She said you may need to take them off when you go downstairs and it will take time to adjust. For several months I've struggled to see properly with my glasses, taken a couple of bad falls and have had multiple headaches. I finally went to get a second opinion brought in my prescription and was told the lenses and my prescription do not match!!! The office never sent in my glasses to get the new prescription and even Dr Monea did not catch the error. On top of all of this pain and headache I have yet to receive an apology from her staff or Dr Monea herself!!!

I am so happy I asked you for some drops for my gritty,dry uncomfortable eyes.
As you advised ,the wonder product you were so kind to offer me is
truly magical.For the first time in almost 2 years my eyes have never
felt so comfortable and normal...you are simply the best ! No other
optometrist was able to provide me with a solution for my condition.
Your treatment has given me instantaneous and long lasting relief. I
am truly thankful for Dr Diana Monea.

Dr. Monea is the most experienced and knowledgable Optometrist that I have seen. I have been having a tough time with my prescription, I saw her and she got it bang on the first time. The selection of frames that she has are really good. She had everything from RayBan and Tiffany, Prada, D&G, to Tom Ford and Cartier! Her office was full of interesting frames, very stylish. The staff helped me choose my frames and I love them. Dr. Monea has a charity that she was telling me about, where she gives free glasses to less fortunate kids, which I thought was pretty cool. Seems to be rather involved with the community. I will also mention that I have had a couple of eye infections, and I have emailed her late at night, and she responded to me within an hour! She seems very caring of her patients, and only wants what is best for us. I always love being to able to see what outfit Dr. Monea is wearing when I go to my appointment. I would definitely recommend her.

Worst Dr I have ever seen, first you have to wait for 45 minutes to see her then she rushes you out to a staff member she buzzed into her room. When I said I was on a budget she didn't seem to interested to spend any time with me. I believe she is the manager very rude when I asked for my prescription she gave me attitude. If you look around the office you see it is all self promoting of Dr. Monea and Diana the manager, they must have some self confidence issues to have to promote every little achievement. The front end was very nice and polite this same women that gave me attitude was also rude to her own staff. I would not recommend this office the frames are high end but old and not very clean. Do your research before booking with this office.

I have been seeing Dr. Monea since 1997 and the service has continuously been excellent. The staff are welcoming and always ask how I am doing. The ladies in pretesting have made sure to explain each machine and how it works. Dr. Monea is always so friendly and caring. She listens to any and every problem I am having, and has unfailingly come up with a solution that works. The staff there are delightful and make my visits worth while. I am very satisfied with this clinic and I highly recommend it!

Dr. Monea is very busy but well worth the wait!
She listened to my concerns and had some great
recommendations and drops for me to try. When
I emailed her with a late night concern, she
responded to me within minutes! My kids love her
and look forward to going to the optometrist! Her staff, most have been there for many years, have
always been extremely helpful and and know what they are talking about!

This doctor is all about the money and seems to treat her staff like peons. Every time I have been there the staff is different, which makes me wonder why they don't stay? When visiting staff seems always stressed and aggravated. Not to mention some are unkept and smell horrible, either too much perfume or none at all and stink of body odour. I have been there multiple times and this was my last and I will not return with myself or family. I also don't suggest to work there if you want to be stressed and treated like servant. As that is what I felt from the staff.
I feel the whole experience is rushed and Compared to a recent eye exam somewhere else was overpriced for the time and method of care spent. I waited for almost 35 minutes to be told the doctor again was running late. Protested then rushed in told what I needed, not asked what was the issues with vision and then told I needed to get glasses. I asked for my prescription to be told the doctor was with another patient and they could email it to me or wait until the next patient gets out. I said I would wait assuming it would be a quick 15 mins like my exams was very rushed. But instead waited another 35 mins and as the next patient came out it was total favortism. Completely unprofessional. None of my dry eye questions were resolved and finally decided to get a second opinion somewhere else which was affordable and well worth the time to the doctor and staff were much better.
Do not recommend. Just thought I would let others know and not get forced to buy and not shop around for more helpful and knowledgable staff. Pushers and seems like the staff don't care.

I would really not recommend her to anyone. The wait to get the pictures isn't too long, but then you will wait at LEAST 45 minutes to see her. She barely gives you a chance to answer, and then pressures you to buy glasses. There are new doctors and new staff every time I have come in, and I have to question why this is? I purchased a pair of glasses for nearly $1,000, being told it was the latest technology, and top of the line. I felt pressured to buy. Took the bait, and am now very disappointed. Don't seem any better than my last set that I paid half the cost for. Don't waste your time.

The worst "doctor" I have ever seen. I am not exaggerating. Waited for 1 1/2 hrs to be "seen" by her for 2 minutes. Did not tell me ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT WHAT SHE SAW ON ALL THOSE PICTURES THAT ASSISTANT TOOK. Nothing! WHY DID THEY TAKE THE PICTURES THEN?????Just to hurt people's eyes? And for the money? Is that's what this "doctor" is there for? Definitely she doesn't care at all about anybody else other than herself. All she wants is "next" patient as quickly as possible. It looks like she is from another sphere. NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER! INCOMPETENT TOO! I should have taken my "business" somewhere else!

I've been seeing Dr. Monea since I was a teenager. Now that I'm into my 40's, and hopefully a little wiser, I know more of what I expect from a professional doctor. Dr. Monea is always professional and caring and her staff have always been great. She is, though, ALWAYS late meaning you have to sit on the uncomfortable benches with the chair rail that runs across the middle of your back (you will frequently wait 30-60 minutes). Once you do get in to see her, the appointments always seem rushed and some of her mannerisms seem a little off-putting. She doesn't always seem to listen to what you're telling her and she doesn't always seem to want to help you get to the solution that's best for your particular circumstance. The rest of my family go to see another eye doc, and I will be joining them - I won't be back to see Dr. Monea again.
