Dr. Monea should be ashamed of herself. There is constantly new staff, except for a couple that have been around for years. There are also constantly new doctors. I wonder why this is. If I don't specifically request who I want to see, I am just booked with any random doctor. The cost of the exam is way too high. Its always a wait in the office, which is outdated and tacky. Dr. Monea will ignore your concerns to push you out the door, where the optician will pressure you into buying extremely overpriced glasses. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague, you will find much better service at a much better price elsewhere.

I would like to thank Dr. Monea and all of the staff at her clinic. My son was so worried about his first visit and the fact that he may need corrective lenses. Dr. Monea talked to my son at a level that made him feel comfortable, and included him in all aspects of his check up. Throughout the visit both Dr. Monea, and her specialists carefully designed a solution that fit both my sons needs, and secured our trust. Thank you for guiding us through this new experience with ease. My son is looking forward to his new glasses that he himself chose.

What can I say about this amazing experience? Normally when you go in for an appointment you are met by long waits, abrupt customer service, and an "In & Out" style of medical appointment. Not here, not even by a long shot. This Regina office of Dr. Monea's is the place to go. Fast, friendly, and actually care. I started bringing my family here after some great service even though I don't live in Regina. The things they do and the extra mile they take to look after you and your children are fantastic, nothing like I have seen in my local community offices. With 6 kids to deal with year after year, I can guarantee that we are lifelong clients of Dr. Monea. Even if she is not around, she has hired the best staff that is at her disposal, and you will not be disappointed in any of them!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Monea's for 8 years. I know from my visits with Dr. Monea that she is well recognized for her contributions to professional programs aimed at raising awareness for eye health. She is also well respected by her peers and is sought after to speak about eye health issues. I only wish that everyone could have the benefit of a Dr Monea in their community...... as it is she spends her professional time between three clinics in Regina and Calgary. She is an amazing woman always current in the latest technologies and treatments. If I have had times when she is not available on the date I have chosen I take one of the professional optometrists in her practice to examine my eyes. I have been well served by all optometrists in Dr Monea's practice. Her staff is knowledgeable in all aspects of diagnostics and the equipment they use. Like Dr. Monea the staff are all educators leading patients thru the examination process always explaining the rationale. I find that the range of price points in her frames and the quality of the frames very competitive; therefore there is no need for us to shop anywhere else. Dr. Monea's staff are very pleasant and professional spending the time that we (me and my family) need based on our diagnosis and prescription requirements. The equipment that Dr. Monea has invested into her practice is as good or better than the health regions; and as such when my husband needed an opthamologist Dr. Monea was able to refer him and get the appointment for that same day. To me that is the ultimate in caring, professionalism and doing the best by each and every patient. Kudo's to Dr. Monea and her team of health professionals at Eye Health Centres you do an amazing job helping your patients keep and maintain their vision... we cannot thank you enough. We haven't been able to get to see Dr Monea herself in years, always passed off to another staff member. finally have seen same person 2 years in a row, seems to change staff a lot in Regina office. find the frames very expensive and 'stylish' so if looking for basic frames at reasonable price you are best to look elsewhere. they do NOT like to give you your prescription to take elsewhere too, so be prepared for disrespectful attitude when you ask for a copy of your prescription. do have the latest in equipment, but not sure if staff truly trained to use it properly. I don't feel like they spend much time with you, they rely on machine information so much they don't listen to what you are saying.

I have known Dr. Diana Monea for over 2 years, and what a wonderful experience it has been. She is the top specialist, she makes you feel like you are the only one at her clinics, while everyone is buzzing around. I feel comfortable and confident being in her care. If you are in need of any eye care, Dr. Diana Monea is the one to go to. Not only you get wonderful staff to look after you, you get a doctor with in depth experience and knowledge, care fantastic vision!!!

My family has been seeing Dr. Monea in Regina for a number of years now. We have always had great service for our appointments and frame/lens purchases. Just want to share my wonderful experiences at Eye Health Centre in Regina and at the Kensington location here in Calgary. This operation is owned by Dr. Monea and I have been to her location in Regina when I lived there and when I made the transition to Calgary I looked up her business here as she gives the best service to her patients. Dr. Monea is always keen on keeping abreast of the latest technology pertaining to whats best for ones eyes. My family has trusted her with our eyes for many years. They say leadership comes from the top down and I truly believe this from Dr. Monea and her staff. They truly care about their patients that come through their door.

I always recommend her services to anyone who asks me where I go for my eye care and even the eye glasses I wear. Her staff have helped me choose frames that suit my face. I get compliments on my glasses all the time. Her staff are very knowledgeable in the services they provide.

After years of suffering with my vision I saw a specialist and learned that things were missed when I was seeing Dr. Monea so I will never go back to her office again. Plus her office does not stand behind their eyeglasses, so if you have problems (the lenses are wrong), etc you end up losing money, and being poorly treated when you say that is not fair. If you have lots of money to spend and you spend it on expensive frames the service is awesome but it seems like you do not receive the same level of service, or care, when you are not spending tons of money which is very wrong. My advice, see an optician that stands behind their frames and whose frames are reasonably priced AND most important see a doctor who carefully checks everything and takes the time to ensure your vision is the best it can be. If an optometrist tells you nothing can be done, get a second, third, fourth opinion whatever it takes, don't blindly trust one doctors word. There is no reason to suffer for years needlessly when help is available.

I was in early this week for my eye exam with Dr. Monea. I find she has the top notch pre-testing equipment, which is great because of my family history of macular degeneration this is
so important to me. She takes so much care & time with me. And she always gives me her card with her e-mail address,so I can ask her questions any time. I always will recommend Dr. Monea to family & friends.
