It is my first time going to a chiropractor and I am really happy with the change that this person made in my life; before I used to suffered from chronic worry and anxiety; I used to feel in rush all time and really stressed; since I had the first adjustments on my spine I started to feel a positive change in my body; I feel that my nervous system is stronger and feel more calm; I also used to suffer from really painful menstrual cramps and now they have almost disappeared; I am really happy with the treatment in general and I recommend everyone to give it a try; it really helps people to have a better quality of life.

I started seeing Dr. Collins 2 months ago when I was crooked, bent out of shape, taking pain killers and using muscle relaxant creams hourly. After just 4 visits I stopped needing the pain killers. After 8 visits I was only using the creams maybe once a week. Now I have been pain killer and cream free for 2 weeks! No more sharp stabbing pain in my lower back, no more twinges when I move, no more headaches. I always feel rejuvinated and full of energy after an adjustment. Plus, he doesn't just seek to help you with your chiropractic needs, he offers support and coaching for whole life health and is a great resource!

In the two months that I visited twice weekly, my range of movement improved and I had less pain and discomfort and did not have to use pain killers and anti-inflammatory pills as often.

I wish I had gone to see Dr. Collins sooner. I had suffered from chronic, debilitating migraines and back pain for years, and it was getting worse. Physiotherapy did little to reduce the pain. I feared I would have to take pain medication for the rest of my life. Dr. Collins did a thorough assessment, and after a few adjustments, I was already in less pain. Within a few weeks, I was able to stop taking pain medication completely, with the exception of the odd "bad" day. Even then, I only needed a minimal amount. I am hopeful--and excited, because my quality of life has so greatly improved. Being pain free is absolutely priceless. I highly recommend Dr. Collins!

I have had 2 chiropractors prior to finding Dr Collins. There is such a vast difference in his excellent, thorough, effective care that I am astounded. The other 2 chiro's may have tried their best but compared to Dr Collins, they were useless. Dr Collins is both an outstanding person and a chiropractor. He has helped me so much. He performs effective treatments, he follows through,he provides me with valuable helpful written information. His comprehensive assessment and competent adjustments have relieved the painful osteoarthritis in my spine. With his guidance, I look forward to progressing forward to health and a pain-free body. If you need a truly amazing, effective chiro, go see him! You will be very pleased and glad you did. The world needs more people like him!!! Yay Dr Dean!!

Dr. Dean Collins staff is always friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help you with any of your needs. They are always able to fit you in to see Doctor Collins even if it is last minute because your back just went out that morning. Dr. Collins is an amazing person and is always friendly. I feel great every time I come out of an adjustment. I have recommended Dr. Collins too many of my friends and family and they have experienced the same enjoyable treatment as me. So if you are looking for a personable Chiropractor who cares about his clients then I would recommend Dr. Collins.

Was very impressed with the knowledge and his ability to explain in "average" terms. After me first visit he created a report of findings explaining my pain and what was causing and how it can be fixed! It was great to have because I couldnt remember everything he had mentioned at the clinic, I was able to go over everything and fully understand the situation. Needless to say I was very pleased with Dr.Collins and his staff and I have recomended him to my friends and family!

I had failed back surgery, that left me cripled. Doctors exhausted every avenue, and gave up. I was left in agony, only able to walk with a cane. I thankfully ran into Dr Collins. No one would touch me, not even other chiropractors. Dr Collins took a chance and after three visits I was able to walk without a cane. We were now able to even start a family. What a blessing to have two children. We owe it all to the only person that cared take a chance. Thanks Dr Collins. You are truly the best.

Biography

Hi I’m Dr. Dean Collins. I know what’s it’s like to be in pain, to have anxiety, to feel overwhelmed, tired, weak, moody, and to lack focus. I know what’s it’s like to lay awake at night worrying about the past, present, and future, and to go through a day feeling exhausted, unproductive, and putting on a fake smile just to get through the day. When I was a teenager I struggled with low back pain. Conventional medicine failed to provide solutions for me. My Mom and Dad decided to take me to their “witch doctor”. After experiencing what I considered miraculous results from seeing a chiropractor, I became interested in the chiropractic profession and natural healthcare, enrolled in chiropractic college in 1991, and received my Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1995. My health problems didn’t end with back pain as a teenager. For all of my life I have struggled with many symptoms related to blood sugar problems: mood and energy fluctuations, anxiety, focus and concentration difficulties, and sleep problems. When I was 43, a new friend and colleague of mine, recommended I start looking into how our ancestors of over 10,000 years ago ate and lived. I was intrigued and tweaked my diet and lifestyle to match these hunters and gatherers. Within one week most of the symptoms related to my blood sugar problems I had experienced for almost 40 years went away. Like my first chiropractic experience, this was a miracle for me. This experience inspired me to study functional medicine from an ancestral perspective. In 2016, I completed my studies at the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine and I have learned how to integrate functional medicine into my chiropractic practice. My fulfillment in my work comes from seeing amazing results with my patients and to see patients take control of their health and transform themselves into stronger, energetic, and more focussed people. I have an immense passion to master my chiropractic technique, to study ancestral nutrition and lifestyle habits and to use my knowledge and skills to help patients like you overcome their health challenges.
