My wife was referred to Dr. Massick for her thyroid cancer by her endocrinologist, who related he was "the best". After her surgery 4 years ago, which went great, she has been cancer free, no evidence of an incision, and very pleased. When my endocrinologist told me I needed to have surgery on my parathryoid for hypercalcemia, I related I wanted to go to Dr. Massick at MCE instead of the surgeon he referred me to at OSU. My endocrinologist also related that Dr. Massick had a great reputation. My surgery went great and I echo the endocrinologists statements as I found Dr. Massick personable, humble, and very skilled.

I was referred to Dr. Massick by my doctor due to my chronic sinusitis and nasal obstruction. My doctor was very complimentary about Dr. Massick in regard to his bedside manner and surgical skills. I found Dr. Massick very knowledgable, personable, and honest. We initially tried to treat my condition with medicines, however as I was not improving Dr. Massick performed sinus surgery and corrected my nasal obstruction by septoplasty and turbinate surgery. I felt great after 4 days and have not had an infection in over a year while breathing great and not on any medicines.

I was referred to Dr. Massick because of a mass in my neck and episodes of dizziness. After examination, we discovered that the neck mass is benign and that my right sphenoid sinus was blocked up. We did 2-3 courses of anti-biotics and allergy meds before resigning ourselves to surgery. During the surgery he fixed my deviated septum. Everything is healing quite nicely. People have told me that my face looks less swollen and that I'm getting better color in my face. I had no idea that the surgery would do this much good. I'm very happy with Dr. Massick. I have not had any problems communicating with his office. They always get back to me within 24 business hours if I call them with a question. I believe that the only problems I have ever had was getting an ultrasound scheduled and that was a problem with Central Scheduling at Mt. Carmel, not with Dr. Massick's office.

Having seen another specialist, with NO effective treatment for over a year, I was fortunate to find Dr. Massick. He was thorough, informative, and concerned about my situation... His concern was MY quality of life, and was very aware of the issues involved with my problem. I am a retired nurse, in my mid 60's...and I don't think I've ever had better treatment, nor have I dealt with a physician who is so concerned with the comfort, treatment, & quality of life of his patient. Add to that, great skills... He has my highest recommendation...

I was refer to this doctor by Dr. Drankwalter. Both of these doctors do not deserve to be called doctors. This doctor here told me he wanted me to have a needle biopsy in my neck. I explained that I had a very terrible biopsy done on my breast and because of this I now suffer from severe anxiety attacks when it comes to my body and procedures that need to be done. I asked this doctor as well as Drankwalter for a mild sedative they both said no whats even more amazing is how Dr. Massick replied "all it is, its just a needle in your neck" really it may not seem scary to these two men however how would they like it if they had to get a needle stuck in their privates. I'm quite sure the way I feel about my neck would be how they feel about their genitals getting stuck with a needle.

Order a ct scan for my neck and called once I returned call He nery got back I still don't know the results.
