This doctor permanently ruined the quality of my life. She turned on me when I developed a severe post op injury. She made judgements about me that were a complete misrepresentation of me. It was defamatory.
She abused me verbally and emotionally at every appointment for over two years yet she told a psychiatrist that I was yelling at her which was a lie.
Every specialist she sent me to conspired with her to gas light me, to not examine me properly and to let me suffer years of agony and severe sleep deprivation that almost killed me.
I was misdiagnosed because she and the specialists were covering up that metal Filshie clips had migrated into my rectum and under the neck of my bladder. My life did NOT matter.
I did not have vulvodynia. I do not have cyclothymia.
I was not given proper medications for the nerve pain. Nothing I was prescribed helped me because I didn’t have shingles; I had a severely compressed nerve. I needed surgery.
I was a VERY athletic woman and ischial spine ligaments had been overused and had juxtaposed. A nerve became entrapped between them and I couldn’t sit or lie down anymore. The clips further complicated the injury.
I found help in Toronto and was referred to the best in America. I was formally diagnosed with exactly what I had said from the start that I had. A properly done nerve block into my buttock proved it.
This doctor did not believe the US specialist! She told me my Pain specialist had abandoned me. The treatment plan the US specialist recommended was ignored and I was neglected. She brushed me off!
I don’t have any respect for her whatsoever. Her agenda along with the other doctors I saw in BC was nefarious and should be deemed criminal. She is incompetent and cruel. I’ll never get compensation for her disgusting treatment of me. The whole case stinks of fraud. She is a cool liar.

I first met Kathy in September 1990 when I was 3 months pregnant with my second son and Kathy is such a great doctor that she took the best care of me and my difficult pregnancy. Kathy delivered my 5 week preemie baby and has been looking after my family right up to me being her 2nd to last patient on the day she retired. Kathy cared about her patients and put herself out to make sure you were taken care of and she directed you to the specialist that she felt would be the best for your condition. Her selfless volunteer work in poor countries shows her love of people and wanting them to be healthy and happy. Kathy has the biggest heart I’ve ever known in a doctor and my family and I were blessed to have her as our doctor. When I found out she was retiring, I cried but I’m so happy that she no longer rushes out the door early in the morning. That she gets to sit, have her coffee and read the newspaper in the morning and she deserves it!!

Kathy has been my family doctor since 1988. She is the best doctor anyone could ask for. Her passion in helping her patients is incredible! I'm sorry that I will no longer have her as a doctor and wish her all the happiness in the days, months, and years ahead of her. Me and my family. l will truly miss you.

Hands down the most amazing doctor. A kindhearted, smart, caring and wonderful human being. Dr. Jones delivered me 27 years ago and has been my doctor ever since! She always has been and always will be someone I look up to! She will be missed greatly.

Dr. Jones has been our family physician for over 30yrs. and we love her!! We are devastated she is retiring as we know we will never find anyone as compassionate, caring & thorough as she is. But we wish her the very best & hope her retirement brings health, & happiness. Enjoy Kathy!!
