Took care of my dad when he had his heart attack, and put a stent in. He made our whole family at ease and took his time everyday to explain to us exactly what is going on. A true gentleman, recommend him to EVERYONE who needs a cardiologist I.

I had an appointment to see Dr. Shaheen for some prior chest pain and a general consult. His staff one of which was a med student took my history and seemed attentive, although not the most professional. One of them mis-keyed both my address and weight into the computer and which I had fixed after I noticed it on the screen while waiting for the Dr. The appt. seemed somewhat rushed and the Dr. seemed to already have a conclusion in mind, despite my unusual medical history. I had a prior cardiology prescription that I needed renewed and in his haste he wrote xx g, when what was required was xx mg, a potentially fatal error, but my pharmacist corrected it. I paid cash for my appt, thought it was history at that point and then received a bill for appx. $350 several months later, much to my dismay. BTW, a cardiac echo there is over $2000. Overall impression is that this practice rushes consults, is careless with recordkeeping and billing, and is very expensive. You could better elsewhere.

The most knowlegable doctor I've ever had in my 62 years. Very couteous, helpful and takes the time to explain what exactly he is doing and very caring. His office staff is a direct reflection of Dr. Shaheem himself. I will refer all my friends and family to him so is how much confidence I have in him. His nurse Jennifer is also the best.

As a nurse I can honestly say Dr. Shaheen is a great guy. He cares about his patients, is willing to come in when he is off and has a remarkable bedside manner. Trust me. I know a good doctor and I would let him take care of my family members in a heart beat!

DR. SHAHEEN IS THE BEST THERE IS FOR BEDSIDE MANNER AND OVERALL EASE OF NERVES. HE IS COMPASSIONATE, CARING, AND GENUINELY REMEMBERS YOU AND MAKES YOU FEEL EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WANTING A DOCTOR THAT FOR ONCE DOESN'T ACT "GOD LIKE"
