I had a broken tooth and had a history of abscess, being a Snowbird in the area for six to seven months a year I was in need of a dentist here in the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area. I found Tony after two other Dentist told me they could not help me. Tony told me up front he could help me but he wanted to take his time in order to make a set of dentures that would give me the proper service so I wouldn’t have any problems when I returned to Michigan. I would recommend Tony and his staff Tara and Lisa to meet you dental needs! He is very detail oriented! Thank You Dr. Tony Menendez!

I had just arrived in Florida for a vacation and I had a problem with my crown on my front tooth. It was falling out. I had to find a dentist and I looked and found Dr, Menendez and called him. He got back to me right away and saw me the next morning. He is very knowledgeable, down to earth and makes you feel comfortable. He fixed my tooth and I was feeling much better. His staff was welcoming and kind. I want to thank Dr. Menendez,Tara and Tammy for putting me back together. I will come back again!

I cannot say enough. I am a snowbird during the Winter months here. Dr. Menendez’s office worked me in for a dental 911. I had knocked a large chunk of enamel off of my front tooth and it had turned dark due to nerve damage. He put resin on the tooth and made it look better than before.
He is thorough in explaining what he plans to do and does meticulous work. His entire staff was

Dr. Melendez is a very personable, knowledgeable, professional and patient dentist. I recently moved to Port Charlotte for the fall, winter and spring months. I have a dentist back in NY, but will get most of my dentistry work done by Dr. Melendez. I have been having on going problems with a tooth that has had two crowns and a root canal. The second crown that was done in NY fell out and the tooth started to ache. Dr. Melendez spent hours fixing the tooth that has a crack that went below the gum line. He made sure that I understood what the problem was and how he planned to fix it. He was open to any opinions I offered. He seems passionate about his work. Tammy his dental assistant is very compassionate as well. She listens to your concerns and makes sure Dr. Melendez is aware of any issues. She is good at what she does.. Tara his front office staff is really helpful and friendly. She was diligent when working with my insurance company to obtain reimbursement for charges incurred. The three of them worked in unison to provide me the dental care I needed.

As the president of the AGD club at my dental school, I have met many dentists in SW Florida and Dr. Menendez is the most thorough and knowledgeable dentist I have come across that delivers valuable comprehensive care. He works feverishly to provide the best dentistry in a comfortable office atmosphere. I have assisted Tony in his practice and he never makes patients feel rushed and takes the time to explain what he is going to do for them. As a future dentist, Dr. Menendez has been an invaluable source of information to me in my education. He has sacrificed several weekends to allow myself and other dental students come into his office and practice our waxing techniques and learn how to develop adequate treatment plans. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. You will quickly realize that there is not a comparable office!

I don't typically write reviews, but I feel it is my obligation to those searching for a dentist to know about Dr Menedez and his staff. They are a rare find in the world of dentistry. I have moved around most of my life including 5 different states, finding a good dentist was always a challenge. My expectations are high, and most of the time I have settled for "ok", Dr Menendez far exceeded my expectations. He has a vast knowledge of his field, as well as a continuing thirst to always learn more. He took the time to listen to and answer my concerns, but his ' down to earth ' style had me relaxed and laughing through out my visit! His staff, Tara and Tammy are kind and welcoming and a definite asset to the caring atmosphere that is very apparent while being there. I Highly recommend Dr Menendez to all in search of a great dentist!
