I saw Dr. De Souza in March, 2023. He listened to my concerns and symptoms. He then did a thorough examination and determined what the issue was. He then ordered a CAT scan and spine x-rays to confirm his findings and make sure nothing worrisome was there. When the results came back, Dr, De Souza called me and confirmed there were no serious issues, The initials symptoms have resolved, and he explained what neck muscle caused the problem and how to massage the muscle that caused the nerve issue should the symptoms return.. On a follow-up visit this past June, Dr, De Souza printed out copies of the scan and x-rays and further reviewed in detail the findings and provided additional information to remain healthy going forward. Well satisfied.

Dr. DeSouza comes off defensive... He wants to justify his inability to hold a conversation as being educated and bright... He appears involved in the mundane operations of his office, like methods of payment, rather than the medical side, which is why people seek his help... He ordered tests and does not exoect to review them with you... This issue will be addressed with the CEO of Main Line Health system... He's not too old to self evaluate this cognitive-bias type behavior and correct it... It's obvious he doesn't realize there are hundreds of doctors who are educated and can provide "real" care, in his field... University Of Penn has top neurologists, who have far better interpersonal skills and bed-side manners. I have chosen not to ever use his services again...and Hope that he gets the help he needs.

Dr Byan Desuza is a notorious neurologist who accept immense amount of money from defense attorney insurance firm and write fake report of patient in order for the insurance company to win the case. Dr Byan Desuza licence need to be suspended by PA Medical board. Dr Byan Desuza licence is dangerous to the society. Dr Byan Desuza has no shame in coming up with imaginary findings of past and present medical history of people. Dr Byan Desuza is money minded and dance in tunes with defense attorney insurance firm to write fake report of patient in order for the insurance company to win the case. “Karma” is not going to leave Dr Byan Desuza. All the fake report he is creating about patients, God will give him punishment if no PA/ USA medical board is not punishing him. Dr Byan Desuza is dangerous to the society and American people so authorities need to take immediate action against him. It is a shame Dr Byan Desuza write report same as per request of his defense attorney insurance firm to cover up and win the case by insurance and Defendant/Employer work man compensation claim. So insurance company can deny the claim.

I agree with other people about him seeing kind of spaced out . I wonder if he’s on medication for migraines for himself or something and possibly it makes him a little disoriented or something? I don’t really knows ? He seems like he’s in his own little world . When I was there in person his secretary was always really nice . He was usually late . Why I stopped seeing him is he didn’t want to do anything for me in terms of prescribing medication for migraines . He was always making up excuses as to why he couldn’t do this and why he couldn’t do that and putting the responsibility on my other doctors . It just seemed like he just didn’t want to bother . Why would I want to see a neurologist like that ? He also got my different doctors confused. It seemed like he wanted my migraines to be less severe than they actually were so he wouldn’t have to prescribe medication for them .

Dr. DeSouza spent quite a long time with me, explaining some options to deal with my chronic pain. He shared the scientific aspect of a medication and the benefits. He was very professional, easy to understand and really took
his time. I was very impressed with my first visit as he really seemed to care about helping me solve my issues.

I have never been to a more unprofessional doctor. I waited over an hour to see him with no explanation or apology. He belittled my complaints and argued with me about my symptoms. He then rambled about irrelevant things and never addressed my concerns. He could not answer even simple yes no questions without talking incessantly about nothing. He is distracted and impossible to understand.

Dr. Desouza is not only a fantastic doctor but a wonderful, caring person. I have read the other comments and was upset at the comments. if you want a doctor to tell you what you want to hear and move on to the next patientr, Dr. Desouza is not for you. He listens carefully to your concerns asks about current mediations and determines course of treatment that is best for a healthy outcome. He has taken my calls day and night and has come to the ER when my father was exhibiting sins of a stroke. We do have to wait due to an emergency in the hospital or another patient may be in crises. I hear friends talk about their loved ones and the effects Alzheimer's has had on their lives and I tell them how Dr. Desouza and his other Main Line health doctors have given us our father for 30 years more. My father is 90 years old and does have health issues but if you knew his medical history you would be lined up out the door to see Dr. Desouza. My father is worth the wait. I would like to say thank you to Dr. Desouza and his staff for the wonderful care and concern for not just my father but for our family as a whole.

I have been a patient of Dr DeSouza for 5 years now. He was able to diagnose me very quickly and with drug and Botox injections he has been a God-send. He does NOT EVER return phone calls. I have had to reschedule my appointments over and over because he does not have the Botox for my injections. He is extremely intelligent and excellent is diagnosing, but his lack of follow up has me looking for a new doctor. He has had multiple on-going problems with his staff that also adds to the problem. Even though he has helped me more than anyone else, delaying Botox injections for months at a time is not acceptable

If you have the time and the patience, Dr. DeSouza is a great doctor. There are some serious issues with his practice; they are constantly shorthanded and do not always come through with clerical work, so you have to be on your toes. The office is not exceedingly professional, either. I have gotten texts and e-mails as a last minute communication when no one was manning the phones. However, when it comes to actual treatment, I am happy with Dr. DeSouza. The other reviewers are correct in that he often lacks focus in his communication with patients, but I can tell that he knows what he is talking about and is committed to patient health. I have seen a significant improvement in my health since visiting Dr. DeSouza and have slowly transitioned from strong medications and continued symptoms to minimal medication without symptoms. He is not for everybody, but I am sticking with him.

very traumatic experience--------------a poor communicator, a nerd without any bearing, runs over time and time----tiny office, very nasty environment, and you would be better off on vine street with a soothsayer.
