Dr. Stanwix and his team are fantastic. I felt very comfortable with them from my first consultation in 2018, and continue to feel that way now at 8 weeks post-op. Dr. Stanwix and his nurses always answered all my questions throughout the whole process leading up to my surgery, and after. First of all, thank you Dr. Stanwix for giving me my life back! Once I ran across Dr. Stanwix, read reviews and talked to other patients of his, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. Dr. Stanwix is so kind, understanding and has the best bedside manner. His office staff and the staff at VPFW only enhanced my experience. He answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood everything. He also made sure my expectations were realistic. The day of surgery he was so comforting and supportive. I searched for a Doctor for years along the East Coast and Southeast, before meeting with Dr Stanwix. He, his Team and the West Creek Staff were so professional, caring and comforting.
Dr Stanwix is extemely understanding of issues related to Breast Implants, and a Master at performing En Bloc Capsulectomy and Muscle Repair. Great bedside manner, very competent, skilled and responsive to any needs. I highly recommend Dr Stanwix, Deb, Sreyon, Kristen, Amanda, Jacqueline and Elizabeth to your care. Also recommend West Creek Surgery Center Staff Dr Dillon, Bill, Lisa, et al....I didn't have other surgery enhancements with the En Bloc / Muscle repair procedure, so of course looks a little irregular, but that's 100% normal. If and when I do go back to get further cosmetic surgery, there will be no other Doctor I will ever go to. Thank you Stanwix Team for your dedication, time and help.

How can I even begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Stanwix and his staff? Simply put, they were all amazing and Dr. Stanwix is a true artist. I explanted to go flat after having a mastectomy in 2016 and I was terrified of what I would see in the mirror with no breast tissue at all. The work Dr. Stanwix did is nothing short of incredible. I can look in the mirror and I am at peace. Even my husband, the toughest critic of them all, is beyond impressed. His staff and himself are all kind, compassionate, and prompt. Do yourself a favor and do not pass him over!!!!

My experience with Dr. Stanwix and his team was phenomenal from start to finish! I had done my research and knew with Dr. Stanwix’s qualifications and past reviews from patients, he was worth any wait to see him.

During my consultation, Dr. Stanwix was so kind, understanding and listened to everything I had to say. My body was reacting to my breast implants and had been for many years. I was sick and felt terrible. Dr. Stanwix was sympathetic, very encouraging and went through all of my options. He answered all of my questions and set my expectations for what my breasts would look like post-explant. I never felt rushed. He took his time and made me feel as though I was the only patient in the office that day. I wish all physicians and surgeons had his bedside manner! I was so confident in Dr. Stanwix that I booked my surgery that day.

I explanted (enbloc) six year old 350cc under the muscle Mentor Saline breast implants on December 18, 2019 at the Virginia Physicians for Women surgery center. During my pre-op appointment, Kristen, Dr. Stanwix’s nurse, was amazing and walked me through every detail of how to prepare for surgery, what was needed prior to and the day of, and what to expect post-op. The surgery staff and anesthesiologist were amazing. They were so attentive, calming, and made sure I was comfortable. Prior to surgery, I met with Dr. Stanwix. We reviewed the procedure, he answered my questions, reassured me and made me feel at ease. His demeanor is truly wonderful. I trust him 100 percent!

The procedure went beautifully. I am ecstatic with my results, seriously could not be happier! Dr. Stanwix is a master microsurgeon with a precise eye for detail. The incisions are small, fading quickly and are perfectly placed under the breast fold. I “bottomed out” with the implants requiring reconstruction of the breast fold. I was concerned that I might need a lift and Dr. Stanwix recommended against it. He was right, no lift was needed. While much smaller, my breasts are beautiful and look as though I never had implants. Dr. Stanwix even called the day after surgery to check on me, make sure I was comfortable and answer any questions.

I highly recommend Dr. Stanwix for any plastic surgery procedures! He is absolutely worth the wait, you will not be disappointed!

Look no further if you are in an similar situation as I was three months ago. Dr. Stanwix performed en bloc breast explant on the Aug. 2019. I am feeling already so much better and have more energy. His sharp diagnosis, experience and knowledge helped me get back my health back and that is tremendous. All went extremely smooth without any issues from the time of consultation to post surgery. He cares with his attentive after surgery check ups even though he has very busy schedule. My feeling of well-being is the strong proof that he is a top surgeon.
