Dr. Aversa is a polite doctor however not very personable. It is extremely difficult to obtain an appointment with her office. My son is asthmatic and on several occasions I attempted to make appointments with no success. The phone would just ring and no answer. I even attempted to go in person because I was desperate to get him care and her office stated it opened at 9am. I waited an hour and no one ever showed up to even open the office. Clearly I opted to switch pediatricians. Although, I’m sure she has been a great doctor to many families, unfortunately that was not experience with her.

Dr. Aversa stopped taking my child's health insurance after being her doctor for 2 years, and the doctor of my six year old since birth. My two year old had asthma and while seeking a new pediatrician I asked her for an emergency prescription for asthma and she refused. Her respond was I am no longer her doctor. I never ever expected that from her!

I don't understand all the negative comments...Dr Aversa has always been responsive, attentive and a lovely person. My child has gone to her for a decade and has had a variety of medical conditions. She has been willing to explore options, discuss concerns, and has been very supportive. We feel so fortunate to have her as our pediatrician.

We had a pediatric doc picked out for our daughter (this is 5 years ago now) but, we met Dr. Aversa, who was the the pediatrician attending at the hospital, and instantly liked her. She's been the doctor for our children ever since. From immunizations to ear infections to the birth of another child, we've been through it all and couldn't be happier with her.

Dr. Aversa is very insensitive with NO bedside manner. She made my newborn daughter suffer for weeks ( sometimes months on end with colds and ear infections!! It was our first child so I thought she knew what she was talking about. She made us return countless times and still did nothing. She should have chosen another profession! Pediatrics is not for her. Was so glad to have found a Dr that finally listened to our concerns and actually did something. I see a lawsuit in her future! Oh well!

Dr. Coylier Aversa was very dismissive to the concerns of our new born. We had many issues with his diagnosis she provided. I am not one to bash doctors but if are looking for a pediatrics that is going to listen to your concerns, call you back quickly, and encourage finding solutions, she is not for you. I am sorry it didn't work out because the doctor was nice at first but unfortunately she turned very cocky when we challenged her. We are happier now and our child is doing great.

Dr. Aversa is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, knowledgeable and calm. Most importantly, she makes children feel totally at ease. I recommend her highly to anyone.
