He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever been to! Caring, compassionate and thorough.

very knowledgeable on everything! always takes you appointment, even if he is running late and will see you on his lunch hour. the staff at the front desk have specific hours where they answer the phones, and no one answers between 12pm and 1:30pm because they all go to lunch at the same time. very inconvenient. but dr. van zyl is great!

Dr Leendert Van Zyl is an exceptional doctor ! he has helped me through a lot both with emotional support as well as top notch health care ! he is amazing at diagnosing ! barrie needs more like him ! big upps !

Dr. Vanzyl is amazing. i have been going through a lot lately and he has taken the time to do all of the required tests and has made sure that i'm seeing the specialists i need. he is caring and really keeps track of me. i have found the staff to be amazing. they are extremely busy but are always available to help me and always get me in for emergencies. they are awesome and deserve a lot of respect. i agree, we are lucky to have dr. vanzyl in barrie.

Dr. VanZyl and his staff have always provided a level of care that has met my expectations. My medical needs have always been taken care of thoroughly and with genuine concern. His patients are lucky to have him.

Dr. Vanzyl always rushes me out of his office. At least that's what it feels like. He is knowledgeable about what he needs to know, but he always just jumps right to the problem and perscribes pills, for anything that i have. Some times he doesnt even do anything. I will tell him what is wrong, and he will jump straight to the conclusion, not even letting me finish and perscribe something he thinks is best, right there. I think he needs to ask more questions, and find out more before he just goes basically handing out pills to anyone who wants them.

I've always found Dr. van Zyl very personable and listens well to the complaints/issue and concludes a diagnoses.

Dr. Vanzyl is very through and does not prescibe medications for no reason. He comes across truly concerned for his patients and he has an excellent bedside manner, barrie is luckly to have him!

I find the staff to be wonderfully helpful, and I am often fit in on very short notice,as well, called if there is a cancellation. If you are kind to staff and others, you generally get the same back. I have never been kept waiting, but I make sure I arrive 15 min. prior to my appointment. Dr Vanzyl was very comforting during my Mothers death, and was always available to give moral support. My family are very happy with his knowledge, and through my brain surgery he was a Godsend. Barrie needs more doctors with his level of commitment and caring . If he had not insisted for me to follow up on a brain anomally I would be dead. Kudos to Dr. Vanzyl
