I was with Dr. L van Zyl for 10 years. But I had to change doctors because of getting older it would be wiser to change a doctor closer by. Well I tell you I am so sorry that I changed I miss him very much. He was such a caring doctor easy to talk to and very knowledgeable I miss him very much. I tell you don't change if you don't have too.

Dr. Van Zyl has been my doctor for 15 years. I was extremely fortunate to have him take my family into his care when we moved to Barrie. He has exceptional bedside manner and is very thorough in his assessment. I never feel rushed and always leave feeling that he has done his very best to understand and resolve the issue. Aside from the physical aspect, Dr. Van Zyl is very in tune to the mental wellbeing of his patients. He is a very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable physician and I feel very blessed to be his patient.

We are so blessed to have Dr. VanZyl as our family doctor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain things in a way that we understand. His dedication was certainly shown in the days when he too was very ill. He still came to the office and worked closely with the nurse practitioner....continuing to care for his patients. Dr. VanZyl’s personally & bedside manner is tops...couldn’t be any higher. He genuinely cares about us and, as someone else stated, ‘ he’s not there for money’. Yes, he needs an income to support his own family and rightly so. But I believe he chose his profession because he is truly a doctor for the right reason. He helps people to better health and truly cares. God Bless you, Dr. VanZyl. You are undoubtedly the finest, most-caring family doctor we have ever had!

Very lucky to have Dr. Vanzyl in my corner. He's a great listener and very knowledgeable He understands 70 year old guys like me, pretending they are still 30 years old. He follows up and is very thorough. I.m very lucky to have him as my doctor.
