Words cannot express how good a Dr, this lady is. But I will try. Dr Yaun treated my daughter who was born with Spina Bifida. She spent as much time as we needed, answering our questions. She is just such a lovely person. She would come in, and check on our baby girl, on the weekends! Always had a smile on her face. Always made us feel comfortable. She was always under control, knew exactly what she was doing, and we had 100% confidence in her. Her bed side manner is just phenomenal. I cannot recommend Dr Yaun enough. She is truly an angel without wings (well she may have the wings hidden). I wish all drs would have just a smidgen of the honesty/integrity/bedside manner/skills that Dr Yaun has. My wife and I wish her all the best for the future!

Dr. Yaun did 3 brian surgeries on my daughter and we knew that she would need more but she needed to recover. That was 5 years ago and in Washington D.C. we maybe looking at another surgery and If my daughter and I have to go to Oaklahoma to have Dr. Yaun then we will do it in a heartbeat. My daughter was not a simple case, she is one of Dr. Yaun's toughest. I trust her and would recomend her to all. Good Luck Nicole's Parents

Dr. Yaun is a great professional. I was struggling with epilepsy for 8 years and only she was able to help me. She removed the tumor and fixed my cranium with no complications. She is very nice, I had ugly scar on my chest and she agreed to dissect it for free :-) She came to visit me every day, even the day of her vacation. She came to visit me in on the way to airport. She is the best surgeon and person I ever knew!

Dr. Amanda Yaun is my second mother. She saved my life from epilepsy. I love no other person more than her. Her professionalism can't be doubt because once she has successfully done brain surgery to an infant! My case wasn't much easier, but she did it successfully and now I am a healthy young man. I recommend Dr. Yaun to everyone with epilepsy or other neurological diseases. She is a true angel!

She is great. Obviously sincerely cares for all her patients. Would call me every day to update me even though my husband was there at the hospital with my child. When we missed an appt. she called to check up on my son -not many drs. do that. Gos out of her way to explain things to patients and their families and listens to their concerns- this is why they are always running late. Although it is frustrating waiting so long it is better than getting the brush off and being pushed out like at other offices.
