I’ve never felt so disrespected by a doctor! Last October, he referred me to a wrist specialist, who I’ve been seeing since. Today, I met with him to do follow up paperwork and he told me he couldn’t sign any papers because he has no record of me seeing the wrist specialist. He was extremely rude, condescending, and arrogant telling me that it’s considered fraud if he signed me off without any record of my appointments and that I should consider another career if my wrist is still giving me issues. WHO SAYS THAT TO THEIR PATIENTS?! He then tells me he’ll need to call the wrist specialist to verify, so he steps out to make that call. 10 minutes later, he comes back and it’s a total 180° change in his attitude and the way he spoke to me. He finds out that I have been seeing the wrist specialist and then he starts talking nicer and being helpful. Before accusing your patients of trying to cheat the system, do your homework and follow up with YOUR REFERRALS! Never seeing Dr. Coleby again! I wish I could leave a negative rating.

Craig Coleby featured on Netflix documentary about teenage girl whom he performed a controversial blood patch on for a supposed CSF leak given her symptoms of headache, vomiting (only with swallowing). So many things that can cause headache and swallowing - this poor family should have at least gone to a neurologist or neurosurgeon. Craig Coleby in my opinion had no business doing a blood patch and in the documentary he was cocky about it and showed no remorse or concern for the patient. Per the documentary, a result of the blood patch, which did nothing because very likely there was no CSF leak, she was bed-ridden for weeks with horrible pain. Again per the documentary, the likely diagnosis is rumination syndrome -- only did the blood patch not work and cause suffering, this doctor appears to have caused the family to have so much distrust in the medical system that this young women thus far is not seeking the (relatively non-invasive) help that could help her so much. In my opinion, awful doctor and so un-empathetic.

Does it get any better than this? I had a medical emergency with my daughter, and he was the doctor on call - he met me at the ER to tend to her issues within 45 minutes of injury - amazing. Great bedside manner, and compassionate. A great choice.
