I hate to leave a less-than-stellar review, but maybe some positive change can come from it. I am grateful to have a job where I make enough money that finances aren’t an issue. I paid for my treatments up front and didn’t have to discuss payment with staff much, but on the one occasion where future procedures were being discussed, I felt very pressured to agree and go ahead and get them scheduled and to pay up front, even though I wanted to wait.

My main issue with Dr. Kvitko and his assistants was pain. I have a pretty high pain threshold but there seems to be little regard for for patient comfort with this dentist. No gentle touch, no rinsing when tons of gross chemicals were being sprayed into my mouth. I had to swallow pieces of my old filling as he drilled them away because his assistant lackadaisically handled the rinse/suction equipment. At one point she accidentally stabbed me with the sharp instrument she held in her hand as she adjusted something in my mouth. It was painful and unexpected but there was no acknowledgment that she was sorry. In addition, Dr. K got visibly put off any time I moved my mouth or asked for rinse water or suction. He sighed in annoyance anytime my tongue had to relax for a moment while he was placing my crown. He was forceful in moving my tongue and jaw into his desired position, and along with the lack of proper water/suction, there were times during the procedure when I felt like I could not breathe.

I wish I hadn’t felt too uncomfortable to say anything directly to the doctor and his assistant at the time. I felt as if this feedback would not have been received well. They were so aloof. I’ve had positive experiences with other debatable assistants in his office, but overall I felt it was best to look for a new dentist.

I can not express my gratitude enough for Dr. Kvitko and his team. They have been the nicest group from the very first phone call I made to the office to my latest appointment.
Over the years I have seen several dentists from Florida to Ohio seeking treatment for my gummy smile and to have my veneer replaced. I was met with disappointment after disappointment. Either I didn't feel comfortable that the dentist knew what they were doing or they didn't seem to want to take on the difficult case. I really didn't expect anything different form Dr. Kvitko. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only did he know exactly what I was looking for but he seems genuinely happy to achieve it. Needless to say he went up and beyond my expectations!
I am getting a little emotional writing this bc I can't really put into words how much this changed my smile and how I interact with people around me. I no longer have to cover my smile or shy away from candid photos.
I am 5 hours away from his office but will gladly make that drive over and over again to see him.

How many people can say that they look forward to going to their dentist? I certainly can now! I was traumatized by dental work that I had done while I was young. As an adult it caused me to avoid going to the dentist at all. 20 plus years later, you can imagine the terrible, painful, and embarrassing condition my mouth was in. Enter Dr. Kvitko & Associates. When I heard that they used gentle sedation techniques for a comfortable experience, I finally decided to give it a try. Honestly I had no choice as one of my teeth was in an emergency situation. Dr. Kvitko saw me immediately, offered the gentle sedation, and the staff even stayed late until my procedure was over. Beyond the outstanding job the staff did with my dental work, it was the professional courtesy that leaves me most impressed. I was completely embarrassed to show anyone my mouth at all, not to mention my mouth was in constant pain so I couldn't let anyone touch it. They made me feel so comfortable about it though. I felt no shame. They were in complete understanding of my anxiety, mouth sensitivity, and embarrassment, and they treated me with so much respect. Now I know that I can go to the dentist and have a pleasant experience the entire time. The staff is kind, professional, and courteous and I really look forward to my dental visits now. How many people can say that!!

I had the best experience last week getting my wisdom teeth removed under iv sedation. I would recommend Dr. Kvitko to anyone who's looking for an overall great dentist and person

I had been in chronic pain for 9 years. Referred to endodontists, periodontists, orthodontists, prosthodontist, neurologist and wrongly diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia . Dr Kvitko diagnosed abcessed teeth , fixed the problem, and I have my life back. No more pain! Dr Kvitko is smart , compassionate and I highly recommend him.

I originally went to Aspen dental for a wisdom tooth that was bothering me. As I was afraid of the dentist, I knew I had to get it done. After 2 hours, and 2 doctors, and lots and lots of pain later....Aspen failed at removing my wisdom tooth..they stated the oral surgeon was in Toledo and wouldn't be at their office until Friday-they expected me to live with the broken tooth that they juggled around for THREE DAYS. I immediately called Dr. Kvitko's office and they got me in the very next morning!! He got the tooth out within 5 minutes! It took longer to get me numb (seeing as I'm a redhead). It was also HALF the price of what Aspen charged me. He did a phenomenal job! Elizabeth did a great job at making me feel comfortable as well! I would absolutely recommend his office to anyone that asks!

My 3 year old son decided to face plant on our kitchen floor at 6:00 on a Monday evening. His top two front teeth went through his bottom lip and were crooked from the fall. Dr Kvitko was able to get us in immediately. He did an awesome job with my son and was able to put his teeth back in place. I'm glad we chose to take him to a dentist instead of the ER. He even made a glove balloon for my son that made everything all better and he even said he still isn't scared of the dentist and can't wait to go back for his cleaning. I would recommend Dr. Kvitko and his staff to anyone looking for a dentist.

Dr. Kvitko was the worst experience with a dentist I have ever had. I was told I needed a new crown because the other one was too large and I needed a root canal. My new dentist and second opinion said that was not true by the x-rays I provided. Dr. Kvitko snapped off my tooth trying to take off the crown he had put on originally. He then had to extract my tooth. Before all this he did an apocectomy which is cutting in the gum and doing a root canal. Worst pain I have ever felt. The incision opened up a few days later and he tried to put cadaver bone in the area and stitch it up. It fell out in a few more days and the same thing happened a third time. He was not qualified to do these procedures and should have sent me to an oral surgeon. $5000.00 later I have no molar and bone mass is gone. I received zero money back and he said he prided himself on never giving anyone back money. This experience has had a severe effect on me and he didn't care what he had done to me!
