Its been a pleasant refreshingly positive experience with Boydvision. Having cataract in both the eyes was concerned being alone and almost blind in one eye it was quite a challenge but Dr. Boyd was always most professional, patient, courteous and compassionate. His full team, the techs and front office staff are friendly, informative, helpful and kind.
I highly recommend this clinic for any eye issues even though Dr. Boyd is extremely busy and so seems brusque but his knowledge and skill surpasses other opthamologists.
I truly wish Dr. Boyd and his staff the very best and thank you all once again.

Dr. Boyd came in on his day off to do my post-op check. The clinic also accommodated my one-week check, and Dr. Boyd oversaw the transfer of this to his colleague beforehand as Boyd was to be away.
Staff were welcoming. While the clinic was very busy, I felt seen, heard, and valued as a client. I have already recommended BoydVision to others.

Dr. Boyd removed my cataracts successfully. I am very impressed with my clear and bright eyesight. Dr. Boyd is a skilled and excellent surgeon and I will recommend him to anyone. His staff also must be commended. All of them helpful and very knowledgeable. All in all a most positive experience.

I have seen Dr.Boyd for over 20 yrs and find him to be an excellent Opthamologist . Very professional but not always the most personable.
Recently I had an eye emergency and he took me in immediately. He thoroughly examined my eye and found a retinal tear. He promptly contacted a Retinal Surgeon and got me an appointment the next morning (saturday). Bing bang boom and my Retina was repaired within 24 hrs .
Thankful for Dr. Boyd !

This doctor was average at best, maybe even below average given his many years of experience. Not really concerned about the patient and just avoid him altogether if you can and find another practitioner.

To all those people who complain that a doctor was running behind and had too many people in the waiting room, know this. I showed up basically unannounced in the middle of a very busy day after a nail had gone through my cornea and through my lens due to a work place injury. Dr. Boyd took me in immediately and had to re-organize his day. Things happen and doctors are supposed to be everything to everybody?? Well if you had to wait it might have been because of me or someone like me. And Dr. Boyd didn't finish my surgery until 10pm when you were probably in bed. Thank you Dr. Boyd for everything!

I saw Dr. Bloyd for the first time, he wasn't helpful nor informative about my situation, in fact he rushed through my appointment and led me to the front with out even waiting for me to gather my stuff. He did not ask me if my situation was bugging me in my daily activities or the possible outcomes or ways to prevent it, in general he assumed what I had with out checking my eyes and finished the appointment in less than 10 mins. The staff however was very kind.

I saw Dr Boyd for lens replacement surgery, and am so happy that I did. I have now had the lens replacement surgery in both eyes, and have had an excellent outcome with both lenses. I found Dr Boyd to be very caring, and each time I saw him (including the initial consultation) he took the time to answer all of my questions, and I never once felt rushed or that my concerns were not addressed. His staff as well was very caring, and also took the time to make sure I was at ease each step of the way. It was my optometrist who recommended Dr Boyd to me, and I am so glad he did. I have better eyesight now at 62, without the need for glasses or contacts, than I have ever had in my life!

See him re a problem with my cornea. Said there was nothing that could be done. Asked him about the treatments I had read about and he had no comment. He mentioned that "when he learned about [my condition] 30 years ago ..." I want CURRENT knowledge! He said he could refer me to a corneal specialist but the specialist would laugh at him for referring me. He said that the only major problem with my condition was that reading can get really difficult, and when I said that that is the majority of what I do, he did not react. I got my optometrist to refer me to another specialist, and now I have surgery scheduled for January, and I will be able to comfortably drive and read again!

I went here for my PRK procedure last month. After having shopped around for various quotes, I found the price ($2000, inclusive of all medications, drops and follow ups) to be the best around. The staff here were very welcoming and supportive. The office was always quite full and busy, but I didn't run into any issues setting up my appointment or follow ups.

The procedure itself was very quick, lasting only around 30 seconds for each eye. It was painless at the time, and while the recovery was quite uncomfortable I didn't have any issues as a result of the work of Dr. Boyd. He explained to me beforehand all the risks, and helped me understand what could happen if things go wrong in a way that made me feel like he wasn't just in this to take my money. Overall, I recommend this clinic for anyone looking for corrective surgery.
