Dr Oro did my surgery almost 2 years ago. Surgery went well, and Dr Oro and the staff were very helpful and caring for the many appointments.

Dr.Oro is truly the greatest doctor I could have ever asked for. Without him I wouldn't be here today. He truly cares and really listens. I would have trusted anyone else to do my surgeries. Very thankful to have Dr. Oro.

The office staff are very rude and the after care sucks! If you mention a second opinion or referral they have a horriable way of dealing with it

Dr Oro is a great surgeon. He takes time to answer all your questions so you can make the best decision regarding surgery or not. He did my surgery and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

He might be the biggest stud on the entire planet. He did surgery on me and in less than a year, I'm almost symptom free. I'm able to play football, and I've never been more thankful of anyone in my entire life.

Dr Oro was a second opinion for me. It took a long time to get into him, but the wait was well worth it. He is a wonderful doctor, not only is he skilled, but he also takes the time to explain options. His staff was wonderful (I think his staff has changed from earlier posts, the names are different) and very knowledgeable. I am glad I did not have the surgery done with the first doctor I saw - Dr Oro is wonderful!

Dr.. Oro is amazing. He did my decompression in 2008 and I have never felt so good. He is always there for you when you have a question.

As it seems I was going to write a review but my wife has posted one below.I have been suffering for six years. I had surgery six years ago in Kansas,City and I have been suffering ever since. The Dr's from Kansas city neurosurgery group were rude they were very incorrect on all ther findings and do not know how to read a MRI. Dr.Hilton reviewed my MRI and said all looks great with no issues. Well nobody knows there body more than youself. I then found Dr.John Oro and It was a gift from God this man is a miracle. I met with him in CO and then returned in two weeks for the operation.Everyone was great and very helpfull. Dr Oro acts like a friend not a dr. and let me tell you it has been a week since surgery and I feel like a new man.I can't say enough good things about Dr. Oro and his team.

very helpful answered all questions and seemed to really care about patient and family. Staff is completely helpful and they are very quick about answering questions or e-mailing back with an answer.

Just my opinion here: The office staff was horrible. His nurse practitioner is brand new and knows very little about the particular conditions this doctor treats and this can be dangerous. Communication is very poor. If you have a problem that you need to discuss with the doctor, the NP will take the information and then it usually gets incorrectly relayed to the doctor. She is often placed in charge of your care after a procedure or surgery and she is not prepared to handle all the bad things that can go wrong. As far as the doctor, he has SO many patients, he found it easier to tell me there was nothing he could do for me than take the time to address my problem. I sought out a second opinion and after further treatment, I am now feeling almost 100% again. Again, this is just my experience with this office over quite a few months. I would not return to this office again.
