Sad to say that my experience is of poor patient care. I recently booked my appointment – 15 mins with Dr Cathy Schmidli . After arriving and getting a parking ticket to cover me 45 mins I was annoyed after almost 40 mins to go and extend the parking ticket for another 30 mins. After another wait it was now after1pm I approached the counter again asking how long will it be. At no time did the doctor or staff approach me about the delay. No courtesy or apology for the delay. I am appalled and after 1 hour and 15 mins and two separate parking tickets I left the surgery never to return and never even saw Dr Schmidli.

This is not the first time I have had to wait at this clinic. I am a long time patient and I can say that loyalty doesn’t pay. Neither does good health. I was not valued or cared for.

Dr Cathy Schmidli has been my doctor for over 7 years. She is extremely knowledgable, and she genuinely cares about her patients and their physical and emotional wellbeing. I have had numerous health issues (some requiring hospitalisation) and she has kept persisting until she has diagnosed the problems. I feel am treated as a person, not just another number. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Cathy is just wonderfull! One of the best GP's i have ever had! too bad i had to move o another city, so i had to change doctors...I recommend dr. Cathy to everyone. She takes time to talk to you, gets her facts right, double-checks with you if needed, very involved and active in helping with your problems, rings around and gets best info for you. She is very holistic, asks right questions, and really puts much effort to help you, as much as possible. She even took care of quite a few things for me,just over the phone, no charge. She is lovely to talk to, very respectful to patients. I just trust her completely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All doctors in Interchange General Practice are excellent, staff are beautiful and very helpful. Sometimes you need to wait a bit, but it's worth it!
