Dr Cousins is an absolutely outstanding Doctor and human being. He managed my cancer diagnosis, treatment and recocery with such care and understanding. He is so deeply loved for a reason, and while his departure from Canberra was a huge loss for the city, it is a massive gain for Qld and surrounds. I've been trying to locate him in Qld (as my partner and I also moved home to Qld) but to no avail - but from comments below it looks like he is relieving rural doctors. Huge boon for those areas and not suprising for such a stella human! Thank you Steve :)

Stephen is hands down the best doctor. He has moved north and is no longer a go in the clinics. He is flying to regional areas and relieving doctors that are working 24/7. Amazing human being.

I have been seeing Dr Stephen Cousins for many years. He is not just a fantastic doctor, he is an amazing human being. He is one of the best people I have met in my life, and I look up to him as a role model and a man. I’ve seen first hand how he treats his patients and it’s a beautiful thing too see.

He genuinely cares about all his patients and he always gives the best advice with his assessments. Steve is someone I have the utmost respect for and is such a valuable asset for Barton General Practice. I personally think he is the best doctor in Canberra, and if I were to judge all doctors on a national scale, I would rank him the best doctor in Australia! Highly recommend Dr Cousins.

Best GP I’ve ever had. He’s very understanding caring and goes to great lengths to explain issues to the patient. We need more Doctors like Steve Cousins.
