Ive been waiting 11 years to be referred to a doctor for my thyroid issues. This doctor refuses to hear what i have to say and i walked out of her office after she said "we will treat it when it becomes so big you cant breath." Last i knew, doctors were around to PREVENT emergencies like that from happening. Very dissatisfied. Very poor doctoring.

Dr. Chubinskaya is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. I have thyroid cancer and she has been very proactive in my care. She listens to my questions and answers them completely. I have never felt rushed or that my questions were "stupid" as I have felt with some other doctors in the past. She called me at home to check on me. I have never had a doctor call me before. It was nice to know she really cares. Due to the nature of my cancer, she has referred me to OHSU to see a thyroid cancer specialist. I look forward to seeing her again in the future. I would highly recommend her to everyone.

She assumed I was on medicare and was telling me that medicare would pay for all of the bone scan. Well, I'm 66 and pay $674 per month for my health insurance though an employer. Why didn't she look to see what insurance I have it's right on my chart. So what else has she assumed. Then the person who did the blood pressure got 126 for the systolic pressure and I knew this wasn't right so I told this Dr. I din't think the BP was correct and she took it and got 166 for the systolic pressure. And it had been running in the 160 to 170 range the day before and the that morning.
