Dr. Kenworthy is very punctual, but sometimes seems very aloof. He missed calling us about a very important abnormal result on a blood test which resulted in a delay in prescribing appropriate medication. Not the easiest person to talk to, I feel uncomfortable discussing many things with him.

I have a high genetic disposition for a certain cancer (his diagnosis) that should be screened every 5 years. He setup the first screening with the specialist but 7 years after the first time and couple of tries from me he just never got around to setting up the next screening. The last checkup, he did not even bother to take my blood pressure. I told him I have been having bad chest pains, he wrote it down and said nothing more. Mo routine blood screening has been done. I went to him for swelling and huge bruising on my ankle which kept recurring. He said there was nothing wrong. It continued for 6 months and I went to a sport injury specialist and he fixed it, I was developing chronic damage from the undiagnosed tendon problem. He does find time to talk about his ballroom dancing. I found another doctor who does a better job.

When I was pregnant I intuitively knew something was wrong. I basically begged him for an early ultrasound which he denied. Told me it was my imagination. I lost the baby but it was preventable. I asked him for a breast reduction due to back pain. He told me I didn't need it. I went to another doctor, got the surgery, best thing ever. Then 3 separate pap smear results came back abnormal, but he told me to do nothing and insinuated it was an STD. I was so offended--never seeing him again!

I find this doctor to be somewhat arrogant and he takes potential criticism very personally. If you want immediate action taken for your medical problems, this is not the doctor to see.
