Just to let you know, my bill also included the cost for frames/lenses/etc. As opposed to other doctors I've seen, it didn't seem like he was rushing me out the door. Just the opposite, he took his time and made sure he answered all of my questions. I'd recommend him to anyone. The waiting room is clean and full of magazines/newspapers which are current. I am indecisive but his staff was very patient in helping me pick my frames (trust me, that's not always easy). My appointment started on time so I wasn't stuck around waiting. As a side note, they give you the option to get the opto map done instead of using the drops. The opto map is a machine which takes a picture of the inside of your eye, it's really cool to look at and you don't have to deal with those annoying drops. If you are looking for an optometrist, I'd suggest Dr. Flickner.

What a wonderful office. I went and saw Dr. Christian Flickner because I had been experiencing some blurry vision the last few months. He prescribed me some wonderful glasses. At that exam he also check the health of my eyes and did a retinal scan. While looking at the scan he noticed some small hemerages in my retina and felt it looked like diabetes. He made the proper referal, i started diabetes meds and now am happy and healthier than i have been in a long time!!!!He probably saved my life. His wonderful wife and father are also eye docs in this family practice. they also have a new practice in marina. Wonderful experience. I also had an episode of "pink eye" 1 month after my initial visit, I was told it was a bacterial infection, Dr flickner put me on some medicine and it was cleared up in 2 days. OK, enough raving by me. Jane
