Patty representing Dr. Legerton and in his responsibility is completely incompetent. Patty has time and time again proven herself to be nothing other than incredibly unprofessional and unreliable to complete basic healthcare management tasks. To make the scenario even more appalling, she has an extremely disrespectful attitude, behaves defiant and confrontational when confronted directly with the facts surrounding her never ending administrative errors. This office of Dr. Legerton is beyond the point of lacking patient healthcare satisfaction. At the advice of medical legal counsel, an official complaint is being entered to the medical board as well as the hospital that he is affiliated with (two specific departments), and our major medical insurance company. As Patty is Dr. Legerton's medical responsibility, although I am not quite clear if she is his borrowed servant, her lack of effectiveness in completing basic administrative tasks and the subsequent medical harm falls on Dr. Legerton's shoulders.

I have been to this Dr for 3 yr. I am looking for a new dr. Because I feel if you fit their "typical" profile you are on the conveyor belt but if this is not working for you you have to come up with your own plan and recommend it to the Dr. He is dismissive of your concerns, has a spacey, unhelpful nurse. I constantly have to read about current RA tx and guide him to help me. I do not recommend Dr Legerton. The office is outdated and the barthroom never has soap. Even when I ask them to refill soap dispenser and later return it hasn't been done. How clean can your patients be? It is also difficult to leave msgs since they don't open til 9am don't take calls at lunch and msgs must be in before 4 pm and they only work Mon-Thurs.

It was a terrible experience and a huge waste of time. It took a month for me to get my test results back because he went on vacation . The first medication didn't agree with me, took a month to be able to see him again because he was on vacation . I was in so much pain I asked to see another Dr in the practice . His nurse told me no one else would see me .She was the absolute worse to deal with, no compasion and an ugly side. I could not beleive how she talked to me . I was so angry I would never go back there!!!

Dr. Legerton is very knowledgeable and explains conditions well. He is willing to say that he does not have all the answers (with lupus, no one has them). You may have to wait for your apt. but he is worth it.

Dr Legerton is good. I do feel dismissed at times, but he does seem to care about patients and he is knowledgable. The biggest problem is his office staff. If you need a copy of your records, or have a question about insurance, good luck getting to the right person to talk to, much less a straight answer. And if the office staff makes a mistake, they do not take ownership of it. The interoffice communication is bad and it is not being corrected. It is being defended.

I like Dr. Legerton, but he seemed to dismiss or ignore mine and my husband's questions. My primary doctor has asked me to get a second opinion, as he is not pleased with some issues that arose. His nurse is the least friendly person in the place!

Dr. Legerton is the best!! We're blessed to have been referred to him. Very thorough and very calming nature. He spent a great deal of time explaining test results and showed a lot of compassion for us.

Dr. Legerton is one of the most caring physicians I have ever known. He not only spends time talking with his patients, he listens intently to what they have to say as well. Although I usually have to wait longer in his office to see him, I don't mind like I do in other offices because I know he is spending time with someone else who needs him too.
