Dr. Chiritescu treats my entire family. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Her staff are also fantastic. Wonderful practice!

I have been seeing Dr. Chiritescu for over 10 years. I may owe my life to her and her staff. I had serious burns when I was young. I have had numerous surgeries all over my body. Dr. Chiritescu has been very thorough with the body scans in order to catch any possible trouble spots early before they become more serious. The Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I saw some comments about having to wait past the appointment time. That has been corrected as the last few times I have been in, I was seen at the appointed time or earlier. I have been a patient of Dr. Chiritescu for over 3 years now. She is absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge combined with her personality really sets her apart from other doctors that I have seen. She is always willing to take the time to answer all of your questions and ensure you are fully informed and feel comfortable with any procedure (whether medical or cosmetic) you may need. She really shows that she cares about her patients and takes her job very seriously. Additionally, her staff is helpful and knowledgeable and speak so highly of her as a doctor, which to me is very important and very telling. I would highly recommend Dr. C to anyone looking for an excellent, knowledgeable, supportive, and caring dermatologist.

Dr. C and the New Age Dermatology staff are awesome. I have been to multiple dermatologist and this office is by far the most knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr Chiritescu is by far the best dermatologist I have seen in the last 40 years. I have been seeing her yearly for the past 7 years. We have recently relocated to SC and my husband and I drive back to Apex to have our yearly skin checks. Her office staff is awesome--and if she is running a bit late its only because she gives her patients excellent care and actually spends time talking to them!! She will spend the time with you when its your turn. She is a perfectionist , professional and so kind to all! Her office staff is as professional and nice as she is--a great atmosphere!!

I have gone to Dr. C for several years. Waiting can get backed up at times, but no worse than most other Drs. I see. I have no issues recommending Dr. C for your care. She's proven to be considerate, professional, thorough, and so is her staff.

After waiting 3 months to have a facial growth looked at, I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early since I was a new patient. Upon my early arrival, for which I arranged transport, I handed over my paperwork and was seated in a way overloaded waiting room!...Never a good sign! Notes on the wall reminds patients they will be charged $25 for any missed appointments...which is only fair. However, the same should be required from any doctor who knowingly overbooks and keeps their patient waiting for hours on end just to keep their greedy revenue stream going! Dr. Chiritescu, no matter how successful you are, and I wouldn't know as I left after an hour plus wait, shame on you! Do you have any idea what it's like to sit in a cramped waiting room with nothing to do, and in the process, inconvenience not only the patient, but a helpful companion as well! It's difficult enough being handicapped but you add insult to injury.....may karma be watching over you! Meanwhile, I sure hope the growth on my face that I have now waited 3 months to have looked at is nothing serious....the wait for you was not worth it!

Dr. C has had to do surgery on FIVE of my moles that came back pre-cancerous/cancerous and I would not dream of going to anyone else. She is a perfectionist, stays up to date on care and treatment, is willing to take any time necessary to make sure you are informed and comfortable and is as good with my younger children as she is with me. I have only had one wait time that was unreasonable but later learned it was because of a patient that was having a difficult time. After seeing my husband and daughter (both fainters) put Dr. C through the patience tests, I don't mind the occasional wait!! Always professional, love the staff, warm, welcoming and I never have to remind her of anything about my history or my kids/husband's histories. That alone is a wonderful characteristic of an excellent Doctor!

I've been a patient of Dr. Chiritescu for 5 years and she literally saved my life many times by finding moles with melanoma in situ. Unfortunately I have a lot of moles and Dr Chiritescu is amazing in finding the bad ones. She is very thorough when checking my moles and takes time to make sure she doesn't miss anything. Another thing I like about Dr Chiritescu is that she is keeping up to date on the new treatments and medical technologies which assures me that I will always receive the best treatment. Regarding waiting times that other reviewers mentioned on this website, I kept track of my waiting times for the past year or so (I visit her somewhere between 5-8 times per year for 2 skin checks and excisions and potential re-excisions) and in average I've been waiting for about 5 minutes in the lobby and between 5 and 10 in the exam room. Based on my experience in other doctor's offices this will be better than average.
