Dr. C is very thorough and competent. However, each time I visited her the wait time was a minimum of 45 minutes. And if you need a biopsy unlike every other dermatologist I have ever visited, she schedules you for a different appointment to come back and have that done.

Although I've had to wait a bit after arriving for my appointment Dr Chiritescu's thoroughness was well worth it. She's 100% focused just on me and listened when I discussed my skin concerns. I got the help I needed, she was very caring. She has good helpers in the office (I don't know about the past-I can only rate those there now). I like getting my annual exam in January when I can easily get the day & time I want - she seems less busy then. Good Apex location, keeps my travel time down. She has given good advice - my skin has never looked better.

I am dumbfounded by some of the negative reviews on here. Dr. Elvira Chiritescu is one of the most caring, kind, smart and thorough doctors I've ever had. She takes a lot of time with each patient which is why the wait can be longer than most people are wiling to spend. Let me tell you something....the wait is worth it. Some folks complained that she double booked. Well would you rather wait a month to see her or spend a little extra time by getting in sooner? She has the ability to see things on your skin you didn't know existed. She found basal cell carcinomas on me and my husband as well as my brother-in-law. And they didn't look like anything that we should have been concerned about. She is brilliant but still has the ability to care so much about her patients that she starts work at 6:30 in the morning to accommodate people who work. We have been patients for about 12 years and have referred many friends and family. I am grateful for the day she entered our lives.

I've seen Dr. Chiritescu for two different issues, including annual check-ups. I have always found her and her staff to be very professional yet still personable and courteous. She is very thorough. I really have no complaints and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist in the Apex/Cary area.

For several years I have received the excellent care of Dr. Elvira Chiritescu. She is thorough and precise. I trust her completely. Waiting time has never been more than 10 minutes. She is not a hand-holder, but give me skill and know-how! Dr. C. has these qualities.

I've been seeing this doc for past 3 yrs now and my acne is in the worst stage. I should have realized earlier...She recommends so many creams and expensive too...worst doc ever. I would not recommend her.

I agree what everyone else wrote. She was double booked. I heard another guy walk in after me with the same appt. time. I waited an hr and 15min and was also freezing while waiting. I won't go back!

Dr Chiritescu may know what she's doing, but her practice is so busy she doesn't spend enough time with each patient.
