OHIP
He was my OB for the third trimester & birth of my first. He had a friendly manner, but focused way too much on my size (I'm short and slim). At every prenatal, he cheerfully reminded me that he would probably have to cut the baby out, one way or the other. (I've now had 5 children, completely naturally.) He didn't talk about strategies for managing pain in labour at all. I was so happy when my labour went quickly and they didn't have time to call him in. I didn't see him until my 6 week check up, where he walked into the room while I was changing, stood there with the door open, and was clearly annoyed that I wanted him to leave while I finished undressing and got under the sheet for my exam. He suggested I go on hormonal birth control, and he was obviously not happy when I said we were using barrier methods. He finished up quickly and left in a hurry. I was glad to see him go.
