He was my OB for the third trimester & birth of my first. He had a friendly manner, but focused way too much on my size (I'm short and slim). At every prenatal, he cheerfully reminded me that he would probably have to cut the baby out, one way or the other. (I've now had 5 children, completely naturally.) He didn't talk about strategies for managing pain in labour at all. I was so happy when my labour went quickly and they didn't have time to call him in. I didn't see him until my 6 week check up, where he walked into the room while I was changing, stood there with the door open, and was clearly annoyed that I wanted him to leave while I finished undressing and got under the sheet for my exam. He suggested I go on hormonal birth control, and he was obviously not happy when I said we were using barrier methods. He finished up quickly and left in a hurry. I was glad to see him go.

This man diagnosed me with herpes before even testing just because I'm a university student. He even wrote me a prescription for Valtrex (which I thankfully didnt fill) and the test came back NEGATIVE. He said he was 90% sure I had herpes so I was convinced during midterms. It was NOT herpes but a reaction to laundry soap and dry skin. I hate him and will never go back. He ruined my spirit and worried me sick. And he spoke to me in a very condescending way.

i had two surgeries with him within two weeks. he was supposed to do a follow up exam during my second surgery to make sure the first one went well. he didnt and two months later i had to have emergency surgery after massive blood loss. i lost a year of my life to bedrest because of his laziness. he was flippant, rude, and refused to answer my questions. he also did not send my info to my family doctor for 5 months.

Worst Dr experience ever! I will start off by saying I am in the medical field and work with MD's often.... never have I met a Dr with worse bedside manor! I had severe nausea through my whole pregnancy and lost over 50lbs because of not being able to eat. Dr. Robins cure: "get out and exercise" I would tell him "I can't get up cause I'm so weak" (I fainted a couple times) his response "Well you need to eat and drink", me "I can't, I throw up every time", him "well you need to exercise"..... yes this went on until an ER Dr. (on one of my weekly IV top ups) told me that my BP was extremely low, heart rate extremely high and all my blood work results were abnormal - due to my malnutrition. The ER Dr finally put my on a medication that worked enough for me to eat small amounts. I personally felt the Dr Robins could care less about me... in, check the growth of the baby & out on to the next patient. Would NEVER go back!

Horrible bedside manner. Very rough. Rude! Did not visit until I was leaving the hospital. Did not believe my complaints when I am a healthcare worker.

Has been my doctor for over 26 yrs. Delivered my son in 93 and daughter in 04. Listened to my concerns and anticipated potential complications. Both my children were C-sections. I was high risk pregnancy both times and he was cautious through out the whole time. I highly recommend him. He is quiet, but does listen.

Very knowledgeable physician. I personally find it reassuring that is responsible for teaching and training future obs / gyn (which also makes him up-to-date on recent and relevant medical information). Would recommend him + + ! I know 3 other patients of Dr. Robins that would also highly recommend him.

This man may be nice, I am not sure!. He performed a colposcopy and LEEP procedure for me. He said hello to me, but did not speak to me again, there was no eye contact. He spoke to his student during the whole of both procedures. He never told me when he was starting or finishing, and these are uncomfortable uncomfortable procedures. I had concerns about cervical cancer, and he acted like this was all no big deal. The nurse was lovely the first time, and spoke to me thru the procedure which I really appreciated. I am a nurse also, I did not tell them that. I was so dissapointed with his bed side manner, this is not good for our healthcare system. I make such an effort in my job as a nurse to never make people feel as though they are just a number!.
